  • In the equation ∑e∑aP(+b)P(e)P(a|+b,e)P(+j|a)P­­(+m,a), does e mean +e? I thought earlier in the lecture he said he will avoid just using P(e) because it is confusing

  • @GlideKensington No. In that formula e doesn't mean it's positive. Also note that it stands inside the ∑e, so that means we are making a sum looping through all possible "e"-s.

    why P(+j|a) (j is true given a)? but P(+m,a) (m is true and a)???
