  • Hello again, I have found your other chanel and I see that you are very familiar with the AA S400. Ours is the short barreled carbine which was a better balance for my son when we bought it. You can fit an aftermarket magazine that will allow mutiple shots but not self advancing, you need to practice a corordinated movement with the bolt action.Holds 9 pellets and is made from resin or plastic, no scratching, from Rowan Engineering. All your videos are first class. thanks

  • i have just bought a s400 and when filling it with a 3 stage pump the rifle gage and the pump gage show different psi. when i reach 200psi on the pump its only 100psi on the rifle gage, i am afraid if i continue to pump i will damage the pump or the rifle do u have any suggestions?

  • @mrshitslap1 You need to check your pump on another rifle with a gauge or check the gauge on your rifle with someone else's charging gear! that's to only thing I can think of!

  • how do you clean the barrel?

  • shaft...stiff and sticky...yep sounds like a hell of a gun

  • if anybodys interested im selling my s400 carbine with hawkes scopes, silencer and divers bottle for £650 if any body is interested. PM me

  • thank you this review was really good. Can the bolt be switched to the left hand side for left hand shooters?.

  • @Alexdermietzel I hope that you do not mind me answering. The stock's are handed specific. My son's gun is a right hander with the stock designed to fit the right cheek. They used to build a left handed stock but I believe that newer guns such as the lightweight come with a dual sided stock. The bolt can be switched to left hand easily and you can buy anodised black ones to match the gun. I am left eyed and just use my son's right handed gun to my left eye and cock with right hand

  • air arms s400 or the FX typhoone? plz reply

  • @xSpRaYFasT Hi I have no exeriance with an FX typhoon so I couldnt say!

  • @cubleycat have you used the BSA Ultra Multishot Tactical?

  • hi if you want GREAT pellets look for falcon pellets, they do them i .177 and. 22. they are the best pellets ive used there very very accurate and give a solid punch. £10-£11 in a gunsmith and cheaper on the net but if i were you i would consider buying a tin to try out

  • Hey im thinking of geting a s400 is there any cons to it?

    thanks great review

  • Hi, Can you buy the normal barelled version in the uk (not carbine)

  • @MichaelFishfinger You can get the standard version in the UK I have one myself and it is the same price as the carbine (£390) I dont know how accurate the carbine is but my standard version groups a less than 10mm at 50yds!!

  • do you shoot field target jubbley?

  • @feiz01 I used to but I just shoot for fun now :-)

  • @cubleycat well which is ur favourite gun jubbley?

  • @feiz01 HW100

  • hi cubbley jubbley, iv just bought the carbine and goin to join field target club, im goin to be using a nicco sterling 6x26x56, do you think this will be ok? good review by the way :)

  • @feiz01 yes that sounds a great choice ;-)

  • Would this be good for hunting?

    Thanks :)

    I used to have a TX200 MkIII

  • HI, what scope do you have on your 400? I went to buy a 400 today and ended up walking away with a 410 instead and I can't help feeling that my scope doesn't do it justice. What is the one you have and is it any good?

  • can you notice a big difference in damage between .177 and .22?

  • I just bought an air-arms s200 10 shot in .177, its been regulated, has a silencer, a simmons AETEC scope, and im currently working on installing your night vision idea......the rifle is frigging great, its very very quiet, quite small, and has the stock hollowed out for weight saving.

Im working on a few other little bits to trick it up a bit and make it a bit more of a tool, we calibrated it last week on Bisley magnums and were running at just over 700fps/11.75 ft/lb

  • @Cancerape wow thats an excellent rifle, how many shots can you get now its regulated?

  • @cubleycat I dunno, lol....I only got the rifle a week or so ago and the guy pre-charged it for me, I have no way of filling it yet so I have only used the minimum shots to get my scope zeroed and calibrated, the guy who sold it me reckons around 100 shots between fills, he seemed to really know his stuff and is well known on the airgun bbs forums

  • @CancerapeIts a Chinese tasco I bought off ebay for about £45, they aren’t bad for the money but I would recommend a hawke Varmint, that’s what I use now ;-)

  • a ph 600 review would be nice whats the difference between a classic and a fac extra

  • Happy birthday cubleycat...From all at the AAOC :)...pfr108

  • @pfr108 Thanks all ;-)

  • @cubleycat hi cubleycat great review i used to have a 410 and i loved it but now i have my air wolf and its the dogs nuts lol . ps your every mans perfect woman

  • @getsome1976 Thanks ;-)

  • @pfr108 me to

  • can u get magazine for it

  • @mw2muncher You can buy an Air Arms S410, a ten shot version,

  • @cubleycat Great review Cubley, tis i mortimer657 from the airarmsowners dot comt group...Just bought myself the S510 SL, cracking rifle great for hunting..have fitted a Nikko Stirling Night Eater with LRX reticle...extremely accurate. Also on a COMPLETELY different note..you have a gorgeous voice haha....really soothing...you have yourself a young potential Royal Marine 29 year old toy boy over here haha. Take care hun.

  • Hello Emma, great shooting and very informative vids. Just letting you know that you've helped to relieve me of some money. LOL.

Iv'e just ordered a HW100s in ,177, should be with me in a couple of days. Iv'e been deliberating for a while which rifle to get between the AA s410 and the HW100s. The Weihrauch got the vote in the end, well engineered/slick loading etc. Is there a particular pellet that you would recommend at all?

Thanks in advance and keep making the vids.

    Regards........Neil.

  • hey , if I may ask, I trade my hunting master ar 6 with aa s400, is it worth it? Why my ss400 doesn't have pressure indicators?

  • ok no offense but are all english people rich?thats a $1000 rifle

  • @mrsquirrelhunter1 English people earn more (Im from England) BUT we're quite heavily taxed.

  • @mrsquirrelhunter1 haha you should see my rifles then....Daystate Huntsman Clasic costing £705 (rifle only) , Air Arms S510 thumbhole walnut costing £743 (rifle only) and an Air Arms TX200 HC mkIII ..that only cost £340 rifle only though.

  • Air Arms rifles are madie in the UK I guess. It looks like a well made rifle. The stock looks like it is from Weihrauch. :)

  • this is a great gun, i go to a shooting club every sunday and i love this rifle, amazing :D

  • hi my dad is the hft uk champion (chris cundey) u might know him.... i used to shoot this gun and it is a brilliant gun. For the money you carnt complain and great review

  • I enjoy using the S410 Carbine, thats a good air rifle.

  • Hi Emma, thanks for the info on the scope ! Is this a powerfull air rifle? I have my eye on one but i saw that it's max velocity (on Pyramyd Air website) is about 581fps ! and they have it only in 22 caliber. Is it ok for hunting or not powerfull enough? please let me know thanks...

  • That is pretty much our power limit here, people hunt rabbits and crows etc so yes it is powerful enough for hunting I would say.

  • Nice rifle and review ! what scope are you using ? can you gave me some info on it? what brand and capacity ! many thanks..

  • Its a Chinese Tasco 6-24x50 from ebay so not expensive but it works well.

  • Hello love i've got that rifle but have started drilling out the tamper proof seal on the side so i can increase the power. Kind of regret it now cos it doesn't look as tidy but the power is rubbish out of the factory. My gamo shadow is far more powerful. I live in the UK too where we are limited to 12ft/lb but this thing is nowhere near it.

  • I dont think they will turn up a great deal if they are 12ftlbs, I understand the internals have to be upgraded to get high power. I dont think a standard rifle will go over 14ftlbs!

  • Mines .22 i wish i'd got the .177. .22's need to be over 12ft/lb in my opinion. Strange armed police came round cos of an angry you tuber lol what did they want?

  • thaty is a very expensive rifle

  • Bulldog the s400 is more affordable of the pcp air rifles esp cause its a single shot. Most springers new also cost around £400. If you want a very expensive air rifle then look at Daystate's Air Wolf MVT that will cost you £1.3k+

  • Emma did you try to use your HW100 for FT/HFT shooting?. Reason why I ask is that the HW100 comes with a single shot mag, so it can be used in a FT/HFT comp or club. Unless you did not fancy lugging the HW100 :0).

  • how many shots per charge do you get emma?

  • 65 constant but will do more without a problem really

  • Cheers emma, nice rifle .. how does it compare acurracy wise to your hw100

  • There isn't anything in them really!

  • does anyone have video clip how to turn up power of 410 air arms im in usa we can do that cheers

  • Chrono it and use the power adjuster,

Mine did only a small 10 footpound out of the box instead of 12, now it does 14

  • It is doing 11.8ftlbs now its been used a bit. Here in the UK over 12ftlbs= prison unless you have a license!

  • i know about the prison, over 12 ftlbs is like having an illigal fire arm.

Just if you can have 11.9, it sucks when it only has 10

  • Thats true but the only way your gun will ever be tested by the police is if you shoot someone with it. Use it responsibly and you can power it up as much as you like.

  • Funny you should say that, the police came round a few weeks ago, armed police too all because (I think) someone who I blocked from leaving comments because he was a nuisance and kept leaving childish dumb comments spat his dummy out and called the cops, what a baby ahy?

  • Yes I agree the .22 does drop to much.

Who ever it was that call the police told them I have firearms and ammo which it a complete LIE because I don't and never have had and I have never indicated that I have firearms so who ever it was, I guess the police will be paying them a visit for waiting their time!

  • How did they know where you lived? Most probably snobby neighbours grassed you up i had a similar problem with neighbours calling the police.

  • Your.Awesome.:)

  • Thanks ;-)

  • Is .177 humane for hunting rabbits?

    Thanks

  • Yes they are very good, many people use them, you dont need a .22

  • the HW100 mach better

  • Nice scope you got on there, what is it ? cool vid.

  • Thanks its a Tasco 6-24x50

  • Hi !

If people from Daystate know, what you did with the airgun in limit, they will must lend you their airgun and they should pay you for advertising ;)

    5.

  • I've been impressed with AA since I bought my first PCP..the Shamal....that was a LOOOONNNNGG time ago

  • Great review. I could really do with some review videos...

  • gd video.. i need to do a new one on my superten

  • It's too expensive for something that's shooting 0.177" @ 540 ft/sec, it's priced here in the US at $974.

  • Yeah that is expensive there, it does about 800 ft/sec though!

  • HEY EMMA...

so do you had a go on the hft?
