RFID very scary stuff! But, I hope that a free market buisiness will perfect a device that is affordable, and, that will alert you of all RFID devices within your proximity. I also believe with all my heart that people must be educated about all of the round a bout ways that our government is eroding our RIGHTS!
I've gotten use to recycling, but kinda agree w/ kiddo's comment that its like working for free.If the bottles/containers/boxes were hemp they would all be biodegradable or recyclable, whatever towns choose.Either way its up to Waste Management or whoever is picking it up to separate all of it.A good example is a hemp container/can/box/bag instead of plastic, but we in the US have to import hemp because its illegal to grow it in the US.It would be too expensive, pass the cost on to the taxpayer.
Landfill sites or liter zones? A Buddhist monk or bodhisattva would not liter, would recycle and would give ya the scowl 'look' for not following suit. It's time Westerners do the same. A piss poor waste of local governments' time, that is, grooming citizens to become less 'self-serve' dependent.
Recycling is not the job of the public - that's the job of the packaging manufacturers to provide biodegradable packaging... otherwise the public is WORKING FOR THE MANUFACTURERS OR THE GOVERNMENT FOR FREE.
Doing something you don't want to do at someone else's behest is either SLAVERY or WORK - the difference between the two being a WAGE.
This shit is so elementary - sureluy there's a civil rights law that deals with forcing people to work for no money?
And then the big magnets come out, and people do dumpster drive by's. When a few thousand "high tech" carts don't work, it will come to an end sooner than later. (THIS IS JUST WHAT I THINK COULD HAPPEN, NOT RECOMMENDING PEOPLE BREAK THE LAW--ENTERTAINMENT ONLY) :)
@BarbarianRebellion to be honest i'd like to see a massive nationwide recycling program where everyone had a bucket, they could put them out and poor people could pick them up, we're allready doing it here, we put cans by the curb, i've seen several folks doing it, did you realize all the plastic bottles in the ocean just pool in the center of the current, it's disgusting, i used to do adopt a mile for the bahai's we did cigarette butts, everything
it's for the good of the many. I mean now that we live in the official dictatorship, what the hell. Hey, lets throw in the death penalty if they out right refuse to recycle at all!
On recycling, the average person is fairly ignorant on what can and cannot be recycled. In my community bins, I consistently see paper contaminated by food and plastics that are NOT recyclable.
I believe it would be the company's making the containers or non-recycling products. Why would it be the consumers fault?

Boy, things are getting creepier and creepier, aren't they? I love you stuff. Keep it up. I intend to do very similar work.
Oh, and the governments can always find money for surveillance activities...always.
