I acknowledge the destruction of ethnic heritage during the 20th century but you must also not forget the thousands of mosques and graveyards that were destroyed during the same time in the Balkans, Crimea and the Cacuasus. This last century was a major mistake, but you cannot say Turkey is not multiethnic, we have many people from Bosnia, Kosovo, Bulgaria, Albania, Serbia, Tchechnia, Circassia, Tataristan, Crimea, Georgia even Persians, Uzbeks etc. Most of Turks are from minorities.

I guess there are around 100.000 Greek-speakers in Turkey and 300.000 Armenians, It is true they have less rights in some aspects, but the government is currently giving these back and engaging in dialogue. A couple of weeks ago they made a new law giving all religious groups 1 year to file a claim for reposession of confiscated goods. More and more churches are reopening and dozens of others are currently being restored for possible future reuse.

The native Christian populations of Anatolia (Armenians, Greeks, Assyrians) have been all but wiped out. The key point is that during the genocides, and after the foundation of the Turkish Republic, their cultural heritage was systematically destroyed.

I acknowledge the destruction of ethnic heritage during the 20th century but you must also not forget the thousands of mosques and graveyards that were destroyed during the same time in the Balkans, Crimea and the Cacuasus. This last century was a major mistake, but you cannot say Turkey is not multiethnic, we have many people from Bosnia, Kosovo, Bulgaria, Albania, Serbia, Tchechnia, Circassia, Tataristan, Crimea, Georgia even Persians, Uzbeks etc. Most of Turks are from minorities.

I guess there are around 100.000 Greek-speakers in Turkey and 300.000 Armenians, It is true they have less rights in some aspects, but the government is currently giving these back and engaging in dialogue. A couple of weeks ago they made a new law giving all religious groups 1 year to file a claim for reposession of confiscated goods. More and more churches are reopening and dozens of others are currently being restored for possible future reuse.

In 1949 the Arabs expelled 450,000 Jews from Jordan, Syria, Iraq, etc and stole their property. Israel absorbed these refugees and made them citizens (it wasn't easy). At the same time 500,000 Palestinian Muslims ran away like chickens to Syria, Jordan and Iraq They Were Not Expelled. These Palestinians were refugees by choice but were never absorbed by the Arabs countries. And now Israel is supposed to give away land to these murderous parasites? NO WAY! NO FUCKING WAY!!

It is ridiculous that you think that the Jews "stole" the Israeli land. The land of Israel was historically occupied by different empires (romans, turks, british). The fact is that the land was given as a Jewish state (with UN agreement). Since, Israel is looking for a way to peace that doesn't put its people in constant fear. What more, I don't think that you can blame a holocaust victim that seeks security and dignity, basic human rights. If the Palestinians were cooperative, they could too.

The Armenian Genocide was hardly the first. The first of the 20th Century, perhaps. One genocide that is NEVER called a genocide is the genocide of the American Indians. Another is the genocide of the Palestinians, currently taking place and only recently have people of the world begun to recognize it as such. The 20th Century saw at least a dozen genocides, but we are only told (daily, still) of one; The Jewish Holocaust.
