@muka0906 I love her backscale pivots, they are so powerful. Aliya Yussupova, Alina Kabaeva, Olga, Aliya Garaeva, and Trofimova I believe, have completed almost a 720° pivot. Oh and Lukonina.

I believe its basically a really low turn on releve. Much like an illusion, (where your face meets your leg instad of keeping the 90 degree angle) you need to lift your heel slightly or else you will stop yourself. Hope that helps.

They do it on releve or on flat foot if it is a "tour lent"

I have a question...why a gymnast does those turns that Kapranova is so good at that...those turns in penchee I think it is called...are they rotation on the ball of their foot (just is a really low releve) or is their foot totally flat?
