  • My Goodness! You compose as well as you play! This should become a classic! You add so much soul to your pieces!

  • Thanks, really beautiful. I am just back from a day at the sea myself. Your music captures very well the feeling of melancholy when you have to leave the sea again at the end of the day, just when the low sunlight glitters so lovely on the water.

  • I can hear the tarrega influence, what a beautiful piece... Well done sir..

  • Thank you! yes, I had played Alhambra for a long time and thought I could compose something similar (not better).

    Kindly,

    Per-Olov

  • this piece is just impressive!

  • Hi Peo ! Beautiful tremolo piece :D ! And so hard too :O ! The day you wrote this piece should be a really wonderful day.

Keep the inspiration to compose for us : )

    Raphaël

  • Bonjour Raphaël,

    Merci.

Yes, it was a great summer day. I had been to the beach all day and came home feeling all happy!

    Thank you!

  • Thankyou dear Per for this wonderful pieceA1,and thankyou for replies to my postings of you beautiful playing, since ive received your CD "AFTER SILENCE" i am listening more to it than the radio. If the CD sells well, and im sure it is,i look forward to the next one,you could do a Beatles,it would be very popular,or a classical one with Bach, etc.I for one will be buying again.would love you to play John Denvers"PERHAPS LOVE"your CD will be with Nijole & I to Cornwall this W/E DerekM,England.

  • Dear Derek and Nijole,

I am so happy to read that you are listening to me. The music on my CD is made with great love for Marie (she made the design of the CD) and it is nice to know to "lovers" like you are listning to me. :-)

I will make a Cd with Bach and Dowland some day. And latin music too...

    I hope... :-)

  • Peo,

Wonderful! I've started working on the second variation of "Sakura" The accending and decending pizzacato is a little tricky but with paractice-lot's of it-the tone is taking a steady and even shape. Where can I get the sheet music to this piece? I would like to work it once I get the tremelo down in forth variation of Sakura. Thanks.

    All the best.

    Yves

  • Dear Yves,

Thank you. I am happy to hear you are playing Sakura. It's a nice piece.

This you can get at editionglobalmusic(com). Please make a search for kindgren...

  • a matter of inquiry mr.kindgren. do use nails on performing tremolos or a combination of both flesh and nails? i have heard that tarrega was unfortunately born with bad nails and yet was able to compose, in my opinion, the most well crafted and beautifull tremolo there is. would you be so kind as to instruct me the pros and cons of using flesh, and, vice versa with the use of flesh and nails or just nails. a thousand thanks mr.kindgren

  • HI! I only use nails. I keep them as short as possible but I only hit the string with the nail.

I have no experience with playing without nails. But it's very important to shape and polish your nails to have the perfect sound.

    Kindly,

    Peo

  • Thanks for listening so much to me! And that you increse the numbers of comments on my videos. Great!

    Kindly.

  • Thank you for this moment for emotion. I fell in love with this marvellous music

  • Thanks a lot! I'm happy you like it!

    Kindly,

    Peo

  • O my God, what a marvelous and lovely song!!! Tarrega was in your soul when you composed it 20 years ago. He is with you when you play it. And tears are in my eyes when I'm listening it.

No Peo, it's not sadness, but pure emotion. When something is... very deep, I cry. 2 days ago, the cession of prayers was so beautiful that I cried silently... Yes, sensitivity and force are sometimes compatible.

    Merci Peo.

Thank you for such a beauty.

  • Jean, I'm happy you like it! I think this is better with my own guitar... :)

    Keep well!

    Peo

  • Yes, of course, but also less perfectly well played, technically... :-P

    Hahaha!!!

But lack of perfection is inherent in our life, here. Today, with my 53, I accept it. The perfection is when you are able to say "That's fine!", thus it was not perfect: it was only the top of what was possible, at that moment, for this man. Everything is relative.

    But I digress...

  • Another great right hand workout, eh?

  • LOL! And I'm left handed...

  • Beautiful piece, lovely playing. Thank you.

  • THank you! I'm honoured by your kind words,

    Regards,

    Peo

  • wow.. all I can say is wow..request !! can you please play moonlight sonata !?

  • Thank you! I'm honoured you like my piece.

Well, I don't know if I will do

Moonlight sonata. There are so many pieces I would like to play first :-) But thanks for the tip!!

    Peo

  • I love it! It's nice, very nice. Great work Peo!

  • After Recuerdos de la Alhambra, it is difficult to arrange a piece in it's similitude that is effective in it's feel and emotion. I do believe that Peo has achieved this with nice results. Even though RDLA was the basis for the feel and technique, it still stands out as a great study piece; as with many of the great study pieces we play today from antiquity, this one also is effective in both study and a sense of accomplishment on the part of the student.

  • Thank you! That was very kind said. One cannot compare ATEPD to RDLA, and why should one?, music is music... but I'm honoured you think I've done it well. Appreciated.

    Kind regards,

    Peo

  • I love all your Videos but, I do have a soft spot for tremolo pieces...Thanks you very much for posting this.

  • Hard to imagine anyone could be critical of such a pleasing arrangement and beautifully executed tremolo.

    john

  • When you see that Rap music has taken the center stage, and replaced some of this music in the popular culture.. Its not so surprising, yet sad for what it says about the culture..

    JFK

  • This is just a rip-off of "recuerdos de la alhambra" but not as sexy.

  • You're absolutely right! But it's much easiers so even my pupils can play it. :-)

  • Supurb! I hope you will publish your song(s) one day.
