Planets in our own solar system, yes. Planets around other stars? No. We won't have the ability to travel to those planets in your entire lifetime....and possibly we never will. Using the very fastest speeds we could conceivably achieve with practical technology, it would take THOUSANDS OF YEARS just to reach the nearest star.
I can't give any information on Spitzer results that haven't been published, but I can say that Gliese 581 is listed as a target we have observed or will observe.
Your videos are great insights to the universe. I always enjoy the lessons and look forward to more. The animations and comedy are also pretty rockin.
We use a number of different programs (the right tool for the job). Unfortunately, NASA regulations prohibit me from answering the question directly because it could be interpreted as an endorsement of a commercial product, but the main one used for this is a program that is used by a lot of special effects animators for well-known science fiction films and television series...
Well, I see them first, so if someone is abusive or inappropriate they're generally deleted by the time she checks. But, yes, everyone on the team has to check in on YouTube periodically for various reasons, and we generally look to see what people are saying about the videos.
"Sun yums go great with cheese...." Lol this great. Do you think we might have strong rockets that can travel to other planets by 2020 or somthing?

But if our species some how last a billion years or so (which I don't think we will), we MIGHT have the possibility of living on other planets.

I wasn't expecting something like this, Great job!
Also if you don't mind, I would like to ask if Spitzer has any info on the Gliese 581 solar system. Has Spitzer looked there?
Thanks!
