Adolf dassler (made Adidas) Rudolf Dasser (made puma) they were both brothers whose rivalry made them not to be the happiest brothers in the world. They were both part of the NAZI party; Rudolf was fonder of the party than Adolf. Oddly enough Adolf intercepted Jessie Owens prior to the Berlin Olympics, and gave him a pair of Adidas shoes. Adolfs nick nickname was adi, so the name adidas. adi from his nickname and das from das(sler)

nike makes the best stuff. face it. adidas may be better at making stuff for some sports, but nike is REALLY good for soccer and others. one of the biggest reasons is the nike logo is the best. almost every pair of adidas shoes or clothing has three stripes. EVERYTHING!!!

puma was founded by adi dassler's brother across the street at around the same time... in the beginning they had a partnership business.... both of them were part of the nazi movement in germany too, they produced war boots and bazookas in their shoe factories during the war.. and the first shoes of adidas were made from the rubber scraps of american tanks... interesting stuff

Love this. Particularly the Liverpool FC part. LFC should return to that 80s badge and adidas should use the trefoil badge on the new LFC kits too- I know so many people would find them cooler if they made those two changes to Liverpool's kits.
