She's so elegant! I wanted bitchslapped the interviewer when he said "real woman", and I'm not gay or transsexual! I chock it up to being impromptu...
Thanks for the footage - and again, she carries herself very well!
@ariamorte I wanted to slap myself for making that mistake myself. It was partly because it was an impromptu interview. I'd arranged it through a friend with a MTV press pass & the minute her manager/press-agent realized it was going to be a 'political' interview, he began signaling from the sidelines to 'wrap it up'.
Also, I personally find heavy cosmetics, Botox lips, etc. make any woman look "artificial" instead of "real". Regardless, it WAS rude & inconsiderate & thoughtless of me.
Regardless of what you think of her, I'll bet that she can write and spell a lot better than you do. I assume English is not your first language. If it is, you need to go back to school.
She is a drop out a former club kid with Michael Alig, you can see her on 1990's joan rivers clips, Her "job" she said was going to parties, now how do you think she earned $, I had my srs, at 18 and a former Playboy model/actress.
and wife, Never want to be spotted, and never am, If I looked more like a ts I would do as she.
There is a wonderful realness to this conversation you both shined, Loved when Amanda referred to herself as an "Advanced Transsexual". What a perfect person to be a part of Asbury Park's Road Trip event! Now to get the rest of the world to be more trans inclusive.......
WOW RANDY FANTASTIC INTERVIEW. im really glad you did this i luv it. i finally got to see Amanda in depth. btw im a tranny who used to be a faggot and luved niggers. lol lighten up ppl. sum trannys call each other that and its ok just like sum gays call each other faggot and its ok as well as black ppl calling each other the n word... politically correct ppl wont like it though
Thanks for the positive feedback. At one point I thought I'd lost this tape & then I found it. To understand where Amanda is coming from, you have to know her life story. She was really one of those "early pioneers" who simply was on her own & only had her internal compass to guide her. I'm delighted that she does benefits for trans groups helping young people. She's not "political" but you can see she is a great human being. Regarding terms, it's how they're said that counts. cont..
I was discussing "videos to watch" with a friend. She suggested watching something that didn't turn me on & I replied--"I'd rather watch these hot trannies dance." Now, that was NOT an insult. It's not only the terms that give words their power, it's the context that they are used in. Feel free to call me "a faggot" anytime. Personally, I dislike "queer" more. Regardless, I respect other's feelings & wouldn't use "tranny" if I thought it would offend the person I was talking to.
Actually that is true more often than not in the US but as u say u don't know how it is here so why say that? Also, I am a 'Tranny' and I don't think it is disrespectful at all to use that term. Neither does anyone who I know that is transsexual. I pass now and don't have to deal with societies issues with us. By society I mean the general public. Anything to do with legal rights in most of the U.S. is against us including marriage, job and housing discrimination and hate crimes legislation.
creepy old fool interviewer

@rmutt4 You're obviously such a nice person to take the time to make this remark.

@RandolfeWicker
sorry...but your questions are reactionary and insulting.
I'm an old queer too, but you really need to be a better and more informed listener if you want to subject yourself to comments on youTube.

society begrudgingly tolerates gays but trannys are just too much for them, especially when a lot of gays think its just fine to shun trannys too.
