If I remember correctly this is the first official appearance of Daffy Duck. He appears in an early cartoon called Porky's Duck Hunt, but he wasn't named at the time.

The entire cartoon this is taken from was, I think I read, the first w/ Daffy. The animation is very different from later. The entire cartoon is one of the funniest WB ever made; Daffy is daffy as hell, Egghead was like the prototype for Elmer Fudd, and it's just so clever in that way cartoons used to be.
