Adam.. I am sure that your loss is something that has lived with you on a daily basis since 1973.. and I am sorry to have to realize that. I recognize Elizabeth's name from the news coverage last year.. but my memories of 1973 cannot recall the specifics. I am sorry that your father did not find his peace while still on Earth. I remember the total panic in Fresno the day when Victoria was taken. I vowed to never forget her name.. and have added your sister's name to that vow as well.
Im sorry but I forgot to mention and once again thank the FPD for their work in arresting Ray Dell Simms. For the murder of my sister Elizabeth Ann Ortega in 73'. I just wish my father would have lived long enough to hear about it. He passed December 27, 2007. Just shortly before they connected him to the murders of my sister and 4 other young girls. His heart never healed from that loss. Im sure they are reunited in heaven now. She was only 15yr old on her way to school. -Adam Anthony Ortega.
God Bless her soul. Now she can RIP. God bless the Cheif Dyer and the FPD also. I went to elementary school with her. Although she was a bit younger than I it was devastating to the whole school. I never forgot about it. I feel a sense of closure as Im sure her family does. Lord comfort them as the wounds are reopened and can finally start to heal. Pray for us Victoria.
