The clamps are actually the worse part. The piercings dont really hurt at all. i have my lip pierced. I didnt even use clamps.

it doesnt hurt THAT bad... and also, the clamp isnt really necessary for septums, my piercer didnt use one

Some piercers use them so that they don't hit the cartiledge.... Then again some piercers who suck hit it anyway... Mine did XD Horrible pain...
