I know I'm going to get a lot of thumbs down, but this scene HAD to be the scene that started the "overdone" death act. Dramatic pause.. heavy breathing... then BAM! Eyes rolled, mouth open tongue hanging out. Its really comic....
Although everything leading up to the death was really freaky. I'm surprised this wasn't a horror
I am looking for any Griffith films in which Henry (Chief Red Eagle) Perley appears -- are there any still in existance -- Henry Perley or Henry Red Eagle as he was sometimes referred after his screen name was from my hometown and my mother owns his old place which was sold to her by his son.
man, i dunno why but this movie made me feel like some one was watching me from the depths of the room, silently! O.o I mean, i really liked the movie and the story but it was really scary! i don't know why! O.o
This movie will be the third silent film I have will see in my life. The Wichita Theater Organ Inc. is playing this film for there 2007-2008 Season on the famous NY-Paramount Wichita Wurlitzer Theater Organ @ Century II on April 5th 2008. YOU MUST BE THERE IF YOU CAN! Theater Organ + Silent Film = GREATNESS! and most of all its on one of the famous Theater Organs of all time! I can't wait to see it. Reply for more info.
I like your video clip and have rated it as awesome. Please check out my clip of silent movie star tobacco cards. They include: Lillian Gish, Charlie Chaplin, Rudolph Valentino, Mary Pickford, Lillian Gish, Tom Mix, Jackie Coogan, Harold Lloyd and many more.
Lil Gish truly was one of best of the original Hollywood greats...as good now as she was in those first days of the cinema with Fairbanks, Pickford, Chaplin, and the rest.

I enjoyed this movie very much. I watched it about 2-3 weeks ago on TCM's Silent Movie Sunday. I love silent films!
Lillian Gish sure was a trooper... She lived 'til she was 100 in 1993!
