@timyootim You can see all in the video! There is nothing difficult. You need som cardboard or thick paper and scotch. 2 sticks pin to the table with a scotch. How to build this "magnet sticks" i showed after 1 minute from begining of video. Length of stick is near 15-20 magnet spheres.

You're not gonna get it floating in without the stabilizing papers. :P

Only way around the problem is to use super conductivity (freezing the magnets down to ~0.8 degrees Kelvin), programming an electromagnet to increase the power when magnets gets too close and vice versa or try to make something similar to a Levitron (search youtube for it), that is, using the gyroscopic forces of the spinning magnets to stabilize them.
