Morten is so, so relaxed here. Yes, Morten delivers this emotional performance. That's why it's so sexy. It's like he feels what he's singing. It's not forced. His voice is real and raw and powerful. He knows this which puts him in a good mood with the audience.

Morten's voice is definitely more powerful back then. What a brilliant emotional delivery by morten, esp at the intro. Compared to now, he should drop that healer guy and remove his earpiece.

Also the drums back then rocks! on recent years, the drumming has been very safe and unvaried!!

A very energetic performance by a-ha and especially Morten Harket. He has a very raw voice here and these shows of the mid 90's are considered to be a-ha's best performances. Morten does a very rare thing here, he actually jumps into the stage pit close to the audience. The performance is taken from Standard Bank arena, Johannesburg, South Africa 1994. (more)

Thanks for posting this. These were indeed great performances back in the 90s, very rocking, unlike the more jazzed-up versions of the last several years. The Swing of Things version in this concert is of particular note, and has one of my very favorite guitar solos ever.

Never saw Morten getting this close to the audience, he is usually very proper and distant.
