I like the Scott cr1, its what i have, or plasma. this is an awsome bike, seats are narrow for a reason. Less weight and alows more travel with your hips and legs. Going down to Oregon from olympia Wa, is an awsome ride. Where does anyone els ride for long hauls..

Listen- seriously- when hunched over all the way, how are you NOT sitting on the contents of your scrotum? I need a better seat, I think. These narrow seats are going to put an end to my bloodline. Thanks in advance for an honest answer.

Jasoncreek - you probably have never ridden one of those( not offense intended), You wont believe this but, your scrotum" has an ability to retract inside of your body when in extreme conditions, like cold or heavy exercise.

i was once upon a time a pretty avid cyclist... would never know it now. and yes, i know about that; i always chalked it up to sitting on a bike seat. seat selection seems to be the big issue (especially in these days of pencil-narrow seats). you're saying exercise in general does it? "whew" if so. still, i've probably never had the right seat for being totally horizontal.

I'm not sitting on the contents of my scrotum because when crouched all the way I'm not usually pedalling so sedately as to rest much weight on the saddle.
