  • The car alarm maybe going off.

  • Are there a lot of black people in atlanta?

  • @24preacherboy There is a diverse group of people in Atlanta, and yes one large part is African Americans. What is the point?

  • nice of them to leave all the trash on the street to blow all over.keep ATL beautiful...not. Nice camera shots though.

  • America has a lot of tornados and hurricans,

good for me that i live in germany =)

  • you are sooooo lucky. I live in illinois so we have TONS of timese when the tornado sirens are going off. As soon as i get out of colledge, i am moving to France or into the appalachine mountains in Pensilvanyia. Both places have never had tornadoes. (Has France?)

  • no, france had no tornados, like germany, italy, netherland, and the rest of the european union ^^

  • every country has had a tornado.

  • yes, rigt, but in 50 years one time ???

    I dont know...

  • UK has had a few in the last years. Every place except Antarctica has had a tornado. Poland get at least ten every year. Ask more q's and I will provide answers. ;)

  • Can tornados happen in Louisiana too?

  • they can happen almost anywhere if the conditions are right.

  • Looks like a really pissed off poltergeist... hehe... Thanks for the vid.

  • lol, pist off poltergeist! with its on thunder and everything!

  • garbage fest!!!!!!!!

  • WHY ISTHE CAR FLASHING

  • I'm guessing it was the car alarm?

  • @earcandyfilms LOL!

  • @pmyodb1 because car alarms go off when an object hits the car forcefully. i always think that car alarms make disasters sound really cool :D haha

  • @pmyodb1 srsly? My car alarm goes off if a squirrel drops an acorn on it.

  • i would of ran towards under ground

  • Was this from the location of the Pioneer Lofts on Marietta Street?

  • cool. i remember hearing about this. the sec tournament was going on and it shook the georgia dome around a bit. :P

  • Did you not get similar effects this Feb.? There was some much hail on the ground it looked like sleet or snow just golf and tennis ball sized.

  • This tornado actually did some damage and halted building projects in Atlanta for some time.

  • musical chairs, anyone?

  • Yes there was a tornado nearby but what we are seeing her guys and gals is RFD or Rear Flank Downdraft. It is basically the outside edges of a tornado.

  • LMAO @ the car going off xD

  • looks like a strong microburst

  • WTF chairs in atlanta iv lived in atl all my life and who would want to go outside on the top of a tower in atlanta i will never understand but we love out city and state governer Perdue!!!!

  • i like your footage.

  • whoow intense poltergeist activity on the roofdeck ;)

  • LOL the car alarm went off!

  • a bow echo on radar. looks to me like straight line winds or a down draft. those chairs would have taken off in a tornado

  • as well as the cars haha

  • It was a tornado. A photographer just outside of downtown caught it. I am sure you can look the pictures up online.

As a matter of fact they think that 2 tornadoes hit within that area.

  • Ahhh....Atlanta...where they stack thier trashbags outside the front door when the Tornado Sirens go off....

It saves a walk to the Dumpster.

    Ya gotta love Georgia.

  • i hear ya haha i love my state and the fact that they dont put sirens in the city .......wait thats bad

  • cool windshift around 1:20

  • WTF!?!

    Is with those chairs!...

    LOL

    cool footage anyway (Y)

  • Seeing that the tornado didn't pic up cars or anything make me feel that movies like "twister" try to make us think that all tornadoes have the strength to pick up cars and throw them across the city, or rip a house to bits, when its just not the case. i think that the movie twister had the same affect w/ ppl's thoughts on tornadoes as jaws did w/ ppl being afraid of sharks.

  • No, I've actually seen a tornado pick up cars and flip them. Tosses them around like they are little hotwheels without a problem.

  • i'm not saying that tornadoes can't pick up cars and throw them, i'm saying that not 'all' tornadoes can.

  • I'm not sure that this is footage of a direct hit.

  • Keep in mind that...

    A) These cameras were not filming the areas that were directly hit by the tornado.

    and

    B) The tornado that hit Atlanta was only a low-end EF2, which on a 5 level scale is only considered to be "minimal".

  • @extremeweatherguy I think the tornado is very close at 1:18 because thats when stuff of the building falls off and I saw something being sucked up in the air, kinda big

  • @extremeweatherguy

    A) true :D

B)a low end EF2 tornado may be considered minimal (and classed as such) in comparison to how strong tornadoes can get on the Enhanced Fujita Scale, but thats a little misleading; as low-end EF 2 tornadoes have similar wind speeds as category 3 hurricanes which are considered major. You're not wrong, I'm just saying.

  • Tornados comes in all shapes and sizes, some strong and violent ,some small and weak, the tornado in Atlanta was weak,F1/F2 I think, and the area where this camera were plased were never direct hit by the funnel, but it shows the change of winds in the outskirts of the storm, first inflow, from the right then as the funnle passes, the direction changes to the left, and then back again,.. siple as that,. tornadoes do pic up cars, and tear buildings, but thts only the big one.

  • I saw all the damage from the tornado in Atlanta cuz I go to Thrasher games and there's still window damage to this day.

  • i live in decatur ga and i was helping some1 move into a new home then it satrted to rain really hard then lighting 10 minutes later hell start coming down then we lokked on the news we saw the damage.then if you go to downtown atlanta where it happended you can see wood windows in buildings because the tornado knock out the windows

  • i noticed the far chair moved i belive from right to left den bak to the right

  • You Tube advice, I would definitely repost part two under the title, Poltergeist Ghost Activity.

The car in part 1 was scared! lol

  • What a mess!!!

  • i guess that car doesn't like it

  • The chairs did not even move...

  • John, if you bothered to look you wouldv'e seen the chairs DID indeed move

  • You are correct and I am wrong...the bags of trash moved a couple of feet too.

  • omg

  • man! my cuzin was at the mall when that happen! she is okay though...scary!

  • Listen shit-for-brains...why would I fake this?

  • dont you watch the news you moron

  • wow.... ur parents must have kept u in the basement all ur life huh?

  • HOLY SHIT GARBAGE BAGS!

  • Thanks for posting this. Very cool.

  • musical chairs is fun

  • it will be scary if you stand top of the roof...

  • Yeah, I was just going to say... that was "SOS" in morse code.

  • its probably the car alarm...

  • meh just a bit windy

  • incredible footage! Thanks for posting it. Quite the storm season we're having this year. I live in Marietta and this is the storm that dumped over an inch of rain on us in 10 minutes before it spawned the tornado downtown.

  • This Shit Was Crazy When It Happened No Joke.

  • wow were u at work when it happened

  • Thank you so much for sharing. My best friend lives right next door to your firm and I live a couple blocks over, on Forsyth Street. That was one wild, wild night. Our building didn't take nearly the hit ones on Luckie did but my friends and I spent most of the night wandering around surveying the damage. We are slowing recovering I guess.

  • omg the face is so visable almost like a reflection

  • Where's the face? And also, I noticed that car alarm were going off when tornado struck.

  • I don't see the face!!! I want to see the face!

  • You've gotta have your Ouji board out, then chant, "tornado" 97 times, then 97 times backwards. All the while drinking a shot of Jack Daniels with each chant - you WILL see the face!!

  • You have to be on zoloft as well!

  • And perhaps xanax...

  • This C.N.N.A. on Luckie Street right?

  • An eerie face emerges about 1:25 into the video...

  • Where is the face?

  • It looks like *o*

  • OMG youre right! thats freaky!

  • OMG...watching the bottom middle portion of the film there is clearly a face... two of the bags make up the eyes. SPOOKY!
