i jst recieved my partylite purchases . it was so exciting . i have them all in a bag in my room . they are still in the boxes , but my whole room smells like them anyway . i am giving them as presents for christmas .
@MrPisster during this difficult time is a perfect opportunity to go in business for yourself. "We" may not be out spending like we used to, however, "we" are still spending and you will be surprised that PartyLite has not seen a downturn in sales during this recession.
I just hosted a partylite party, & while I love their product, it IS a little pricey. Plus they charge 8.75% tax + shipping cost per order even though everything is going to be delivered to the hostess & she passes things out. Even with hostess credit, the "FREE" stuff still gets tax as well as s&h fee tagged on top, so it's not completely free. I still LOVE their candles ragardless, and the specials they put out every month on them is usually a GREAT deal even compared to stores! Just FYI.
@troyshado the S/H charge for a host/hostess is only $4.00 and the 8.75% is the same tax you are charged for any other product you purchase. As for the S/H for guests in attendance doesn't cover the full expense of shipping the product.
