@fight341 Yeah i'm 16 now, 17 in 17 days. I'm in the Air Training Corps which is a cadet force in Britain. You may just know it as the Air Cadets, we fly Grob Tutor etc.
If i'm a liar why have i got my cadet hand book in my hand right now because on page 8 it is the cadet promise where you swear on my country and my flag. So before you start putting out these statments make sure your right next time.
Thank you mates. You've proven yourselves to be true allies and friends..I cannot say enough other than thank you..I'm just a yank who appriciates what you do and will continue to do...God bless you all...
I'm currently in the Aircadets but my training is over in a couple of months and will join the R.A.F straigt away, i have told my parennts and they are very proud, my mom is very scared and my dad is happy. R.I.P to all the brave personal who have served our country briliently and hopefully i will be serving my queen and country soon. I love you Britian.
i am also in ATC but im only leading cadet im currently thinking over uni or join RAF so as i would aim on becoing a chinook pilot:) good luck to you tho
Brought tears to my eyes. RIP to all those brave people from the wonderful RAF family. My son is a serving member, has done 2 tours of Iraq and is likely to be in Afghanistan this year.

Absolutely superb video, thoughtfully put together, and put together with the greatest of respect, which shines through in your tribute. I have the utmost respect for our Armed Forces.
What an amazing video.. I'm not in the armed forces, but I am always truly thankful for all the dangerous jobs you do to keep people like myself free from harm and tyranny..
My heartfelt thanks, and remember that we are always thinking of you.
Thanks Tigger. A mate of mine was on the Herc in Jan 05. A fitting vidoe for all the guys lost there and in the Nimrod crash in Afghan.Good night and God bless. 'He Who Dares' 'Certa Cito'
Honour is something we earn. These men and women earnt this. Rememeber the final scene in Gladiator, (rephrased) 'They were soldiers of Britain, honour them!'
Truly amazing video, R.I.P all those KIA. these people are real heroes, they shall not be forgotten. Also like the man walking along the sand story, really touching. Thank you for the video, god bless.
I have no idea why I let myself watch these things. Because each time I watch them I end up crying. Not only for the men and woman who are the fallen hero's but for the men and woman who are left behind.
As a civvie nurse it makes me want to join up, just to be able to serve and treat the men and woman who put their life at risk would be a great honer.
Those guys died a hero's death, although they should never have died.
a touching tribute and the first time i have allowed myself to listen to bagpipes after my brothers funeral we had a lone piper playing amazing grace, which he had at his passing out parade. bob was on XV179, always my hero and forever in my heart. to all other personnel who are also in the big bar in the sky, you may be gone but never forgotten. per ardua ad astra.
I glad you found the strength to watch the vid Chappiesgirl. I served 15 years in the RAF including time on Nimrods but not Hercs. If you would like a copy of the vid feel free to PM me with an MSN addy and I'll be happy to send you it.
thank you very much for this very moving video. god bless to all you airmen and women, we'll meet at the crewroom in the sky sometime. Bless you boys who were on board C-130k hercules XV179 from RAF Lyneham. RIP + Per Ardva Ad Astra. x x x x x x x x x x

I knew and worked with one of them at Kinloss 1991- 1995, my boy friend knew and worked with one other when based at RAF Lyneham.
In the RAF we were/ are all very close knit, a 'family', therefore; when this happens, we all feel a great loss, and the pain.
