Sting is right about one thing..love him or hate him... you ask any one who is NOT a wrestling fan to name a wrestler and Hogan's name will be the answer. He along with Vince did do a lot to bring Wrestling to the main stream audiance. Yes you have guys like Bruno, Lou Thez Dusty, Flair ect well know great wrestlers, but Hogan's name will come first out of them all.

Amazing clips. Really never seen Sting so verbally passionate before. Also, some really interesting comments on here about possible WWE contract negotiations with Sting. If true, I just love Sting even more for staying true to his WCW roots.
The thing I respect most about TNA; is that not only do they acknowledge other promotions. But they don't play WCW's history like they were no-talent hacks (WWE's WCW Invasion storyline, & ECW rebirth). TNA ackowledges that if it were for what NWA / WCW brought to the table. MANY of the future talents would not be here today. Remember, Triple H began in WCW as Terra Ryzin....

TNA has only been around for less than a decade. WWE has been around for over 5 decades. 50 > 10, you see. Its kind of hard for TNA to have any legends that haven't previously been around on other promotions because TNA has not been around long enough to build any legends. WWE has become PG, and with that all the hadcore action left. Why is WWE as popular as it is? The reason the legends on TNA are all of WWF fame was because before TNA got big, it was just WWF or WCW and then WWF bought WCW so it was just WWE.

In my opinion its very bad buisness on there part and it shows that WWE are still very bitter for WCW having the gaul to be a competitor and to take them to the limit and get in there face about it.Yet WWE do and can make money of the back of WCW as you saw when they released the Rise and Fall of WCW so I really dont see the Issue in terms of buisness with a competitor that doesnt exist and they now own?Its fucking dumb.

@ Konman I can see your point but WCW does not exist anymore and WWE have the rights to the brand and footage now so if anything they can make money of the back of WCW promoting its credentials and Stings acheivments.If anything its good buisness and WWE are again cutting there nose of to spite there face costing them a few millions in the process from advertising,Merchandise and videos.

Amazing clips. Really never seen Sting so verbally passionate before. Also, some really interesting comments on here about possible WWE contract negotiations with Sting. If true, I just love Sting even more for staying true to his WCW roots.

The thing I respect most about TNA; is that not only do they acknowledge other promotions. But they don't play WCW's history like they were no-talent hacks (WWE's WCW Invasion storyline, & ECW rebirth). TNA ackowledges that if it were for what NWA / WCW brought to the table. MANY of the future talents would not be here today. Remember, Triple H began in WCW as Terra Ryzin....

@thestudishome I wholeheartedly agree with you. Every one of them began in WCW. Its amazing; that everyone that Bischoff thought wasn't a main eventer went to the WWE and became household names. But everyone that Bischoff banked on being major players, tanked in the WWE (Goldberg's short stint there). Definitely makes you wonder where TNA will be heading, while Bischoff is in front of the camera.

WWE wants to induct Sting at next years hall of fame since they want to do a WCW theme but thats if hes still with TNA by then but i dont think he'll accept the invitation cuz in the end its called the WWE hall of fame and not the WCW hall of fame and i dont think he wouldnt want to be considered a WWE hall of famer thats just my opinion

Sting made sence...If you asked a Non wrestling fan who does NOT watch wrestling to name a wrestler.. Hogan would be the name to come up.
Hogan is not a good wrestler..but the most popular and He did have a hand in bring Wrestling main stream...which can not be denied. And the first and only Wrestler (As Far as I know) to be in Sports Illustrated and on the cover.

and finally ''ended'' his career in TNA(Total Nonstop Action Wrestling) , maybe returning in TNA or WWE(World Wrestling Entertainment)

TNA has only been around for less than a decade. WWE has been around for over 5 decades. 50 > 10, you see. Its kind of hard for TNA to have any legends that haven't previously been around on other promotions because TNA has not been around long enough to build any legends. WWE has become PG, and with that all the hadcore action left. Why is WWE as popular as it is? Because it used to be the WWF, and wasn't PG, and enjoyed the benefits of hardcore Attitude Era wrestling. Grow up, Cena Fan.

@Tronnixx WWE has been around for several decades, its probably older than all of the legends in TNA. It used to be called the CWC then the WWWF then the WWF now its the WWE. CWC was started in 1952. So the WWE has been around since 1952. WCW was founded in 1988. It ended in 2001. TNA hasn't been around a full decade yet. The reason the legends on TNA are all of WWF fame was because before TNA got big, it was just WWF or WCW and then WWF bought WCW so it was just WWE.
