I agree with you (Yuffie's not making sense), except for the "Looney Tunes" being for kids part; those actually were meant for adults. Back then you didn't need crazy sex, drinking and cursing, the writing and adult-aimed humor was enough. And those cartoons did have a ton of sexual references, drinking, violence and racist content that's usually cut for TV (though the drinking is still there). A better example would be Disney, which is even older and was meant for kids since day one...or two.
