Brigadier Jerry features on a wicked Downbeat in the Bronx sound system tape from 1984 that Shinehead is on. He does a live version of this same song.
It's a big tune.....but I think it was prior to '84. I was small then but I'm trying to remember the soundsystems going around at the time. You could be right though.
His Imperial Majesty, Haile Selassie I, King of Kings, Lord of Lords, Conquering Lion of the Tribe of Judah, The One Elect Ruler, Emperor of Ethiopia, and Elect of God, Jah, Rastafari, Everliving, Everguiding, Everprotecting. JAH RASTAFARI!
this song sounds so europhoric when smoking bud :D

does anyone remember what year this was?
Amidat 3 years ago
Possibly around 1984, according to the info box thing.
Brilliant song though, and whatever year it was had to be great to have this song come from it.^^;

Briggy says he didn't actually record for Coxsone before the late 80's. The fact he sings over old riddims make the song sound older.
