  • Cave Johnson is not amused

  • @Gawdl3y I was unaware that the first one was available for PS3. Good to know.

  • I love how a) it looks like something out of Portal for the Xbox360, and b) they didn't plant a solitary rose in "Le Petit Prince"

Also, the eye looks rather creepy on a robot. At least use a colour not commonly found in human eye pigments, like orange or purple.

  • @ProfessorMaple1 Agreed on the Petit prince comment. I love the theme with the little dish for the plant though. Properly named with the planetary travel as well..

  • @ProfessorMaple1 Portal isn't just for the Xbox, silly. The best version is on the PC, whilst there are versions for the Xbox and PS3. Also, same with Portal 2, except the Xbox version is far inferior to the PS3/PC versions. =/

  • How much would one cost?

  • @VALsacount2

Now? $4,000. When we can actually begin terraforming Mars? many $10?

  • Disney ripoff! Configure it to search for water though, It could save NASA a lot of time and money!

  • i think its more of a disney inspiration

  • The cake is a lie...

  • it's even got an eye....? so what!

  • Portal much?

  • @Feilongy Shit, should have said that a year ago

  • man sorry to say that but this is nothing different from EVA, the robot from pixar's movie Wall-e.

  • Its just cg and they did not even animate the legs moving...:(

  • cool idea but completly unrealistic

  • @Pelizo I like how they've given it these tiny legs which would require shitloads of computing to make work - just for the sake of a cool design, when if they just put the thing on tank tracks it'd be shitloads more efficient.

Then again Aperture Science is known to be cool yet inefficient. lol

  • Uh, fair enough.

  • Especially since most of the material in a plant comes from the CO2 in the air. Does Mars even have a CO2 atmosphere?

  • The Mars atmosphere is over 95% CO2, isn't that enough? :)

  • It looks like the turrent from Valve's Portal! So Cute! :D

  • What's with his mouth at 0:07?

Does he have ghosts pulling on his mouth or something?

  • if you didnt point it out i wouldn't have noticed XD

  • i sure as fuck hope they have more than a ball with an eye on it drawn up somewhere...

though from this, it seems like they just kinda drew a picture on a napkin, then made a video about that idea without ever thinking for 2 seconds on how they were gonna actually build it or how functional it would be.

  • I think he's talking about the robot(s) go out and seek the best places that the plant grows. Then that's where you build a greenhouse.

  • Proof of concept, worthless application.
