  • Amazing catch. Did another freoght pass him on the back track in Ayr? Another freight came heading westbound 15 minutes after the holiday Train departed Cambridge for Ayr and he got his clearance to Ayr and another "back track" they called it clearance and onto Woodstock and Zoora on the Main. Also did he pull into the Wolverton, Blandford, Woodstock or Zorra Sidings do you know?

  • @RailfanWaterloo They don't dare put the holiday train into the hole for anybody. With the amount of brass on there, that train gets the highest of high priority. The pick-up or hammer would have been in the hole waiting for them to go by.

  • @osrx1 Remember when we chased the train in 2010? He pulling into Wolverton for an Eastbound Intermodal and into Blandford for another freight.

  • @RailfanWaterloo He didn't wait for anything this year, straight shot

  • @osrx1 Thanks. That freight might of passed on the 2nd track once the CP Holiday Train came to a complete stop in Ayr on the Main (5 minutes after). That is what I was told from 2 CP Employees as I heard their radios while the westbound freight passed 15 minutes after the Holiday Train Left Cambridge. He was told to go 10MPH from Greenfield Rd. in Ayr to Trussler Rd. in Wolverton. The CP Holiday Train was told to hold the start of the show until he completely passed.

  • Looks good!
