very gd. i also played this by ear but my version is similar to "iplaypianokindof"'s. i also tried to work out the second part of the advert version but having a little trouble with the chords. i think its basically ACF broken chord triplets for 2 bars then AflatEAflat, then AEA. Then leads on to FAC for one bar then GBC then finishing on Aminor octave chord and playing ECBA downward arppeggio repeatedly finishing on E. tell me what you think...

that's true- it was written especially but as yet there is no other recording than the advert. as it becomes more popular (which i believe it will) I'm sure it will be sold and written for others to play. Dustin O'Halloran has a myspace with similar styles but does not include the "Audi a5" song

its based around three or four main chords with a simple melody over the top: starts with broken c chord in the left with the notes G, F#, E, C at the top, then a broken G minor chord with Bb, A, Bb, C right hand, then a broken F minor chord with Ab, G, F, C, D (E) this note comes in with the Am chord. this pattern then repeats with minor variations such as the right hand melody played in octaves.
