@Fmiguelify - it depends on how quickly you progress through the training, the weather, etc. Some people it takes two weeks, some it takes months. Most people take several months to learn.

Hey, as I Hanggliding know-nothing, what is the purpose of the sack you put your legs in?

The reason I ask is that I'm thinking of using a hang-glider rigged with a camera for flying affects and the scenes require the legs to show...I'm not able to CGI the legs, so not having to wear the bag is a great help...I think...does NOT wearing the bag present a safety hazard?

Wow! I envy you this the grate sensation of flying! I am an airliner pilot my self, but realize I have become a system operator and am starting to loose that flying feeling as I sit in that big iron. Makes me want to start with hang gliding to fly! REALLY fly! Fly safe now...
