  • PC was a late 60s joke/taunt used by feminists against dogmatic idiots in their midst.

Unfortunately, it's easier to impose dogma than common sense or civility.

When someone (not wingnut) uses the term PC I assume they mean POLITE.

BTW, trucker the transition was a bit longer than from handicapped to 'differently abled' and started with (fucking) cripple.

  • It´s winter! Why do you make a video while being half-naked? Brrr!

  • @kirafan68 just to be non-PC...lol

  • You sound like you got some Terrence Mckenna in your blood. ;P

  • I mean, Peach, rewatching it, wasnt even arguing for PC. She was arguing that usually when people accuse someone of being PC they're just being douches (NOT calling you a douche. I'm talking racists and homophobes. yes, it IS wrong to calla gay guy a fag. Used too often as a derogatory term. like nigger. Less so to call a biker on a harley a fag.)

  • @tyrongkojy LOL, you're a Harley ... hatist.

  • I can't call blacks african americans because I'm from Canada.

Now on a serious note, I'm not aware of anyone I know that's as anal (today) about this. I call blacks black, and of the three I know, none cared. One i WANTED to call a nigger, but he was a douche, so he doesn't count. MOST people tend to not care, even those who dont mind political correctness (fag and nigger are a no no to me for example). Yes you have some who are anal. Just do what I do. Roll your eyes and letthem have their

  • @tyrongkojy stick up their asses. And the Peach doesn't like THAT level of PC, either. Course I thought her vid was more about bashing the race realists. Again. Oh, and arguing that being PC is not white hatred. And ending with that. I forget.

  • PC is used to inflict thought criminal status on anyone who isn't as happy clappy and right on as the section of people who have deemed themselves societies moral guardians.

"Think like us or you're a nazi hate monger"

  • If I don't know what 'group' someone is a part of, I ask what they like to be referred to as. Usually it's their fucking name.

  • @BlackSabbath86 That last sentence is golden.

  • it's a two sided coin, some studies show that if you don't point out differences kids will notice it themselves and think there must be something wrong, it's why you hide it. On other hand alot of PC is just stupid, as you said some draw more attention, and many are chosen by white people rather then those your labeling.

  • Exactly PC seeks to achieve it's goal by doing the opposite.

  • Political correctness has turned people into pussies. Every year it gets worse when the most hyper sensitive retard in a room starts rampaging about how offended they are about some word they misunderstood in context. Then some other retard jumps in to start a campaign to eradicate that word. I can't help but wonder if people who complain about this crap have any conception of how counter-productive it is. When they've done nothing but give most of these words unnecessarily empowerment.

  • Oh I agee! I remember in the 1950s how all the cripples, gimps, deaf and blind people lived and worked amongst us. They had guys without any legs working Downtown San francisco and they would scoot around on pieces of wood equipped with rollers. You would see the blind down there too with their sidewalk newspaper stands, I had a next door neighbor who along with his wife was deaf, he worked at a body and fender place. You and I can form a working class tribe.

  • The term redneck is not PC, the correct term is sophisticatedly challenged.

  • Let's face it.. Society sucks when it is run by liberal thinking people. And right now it IS.... I agree with you 100%. Do you remember "We're all bozos on this bus"? I do.... Political Correctness has done the same thing Affirmative Action did. Created reverse discrimination.

  • In deed, their dogmatic 'do gooderism' destroyed the kid's natural relationship with his peers. While the idea behind a lot of this variety of PC (there be more than one) is a good one, this political dogmatic approach achieves the exact opposite of the desired goal. Very like abstinence only sex 'education creates higher STD,early activity,teen/unwed mothers rates in the young. The exact opposite of the loudly stated goals.

  • @MacNutz2 I agree. The intentions are most likely well meaning, but the results become kinda backwards. With abstinence they're trying to discourage sex (thereby making it that much more interesting for the teens), and with say disabled people they're trying to make them feel more included by singling them out. It's madness.

  • @MacNutz2 Not to say I agree with abstinence only "education". That is complete and utter bullshit.

  • @ViewtifulZeke Oh it be sick shit that leaves their children tragically unprepared to deal with reality.

  • Ugh. I think these "PC terms" are MORE damaging to the people in question than the PC proponents think.

How the fuck is "the kid in the wheelchair" not PC? Is the kid NOT in a wheelchair? It's an accurate description of the person. What vitriol is there behind stating the obvious, that the kid, that is in a wheelchair, is in a wheechair? None!

On that note I'm totally with you. Being "PC" just adds problems to the equation.

  • Fuck political correctness this fat hick fuck is 100% right...

  • @rednecktrucker1969

I remember a few years ago hearing that the owner of a cafe in the UK wanted to put an ad in a job centre for someone to help out in his cafe. The wording in his ad specified someone of a friendly disposition. The ad was refused on the grounds that it was discriminatory against people who were not friendly.

  • And I totally agree with you about it making more bigoted, but it has helped in that we don't use words like fag and Negro anymore. It has become absurd, but we have moved away from outward racism

  • What bothers me about African American is a white person from South Africa wont be called that, and many people are from Haiti or Jamaica or England and still called that

  • @4jonah great point!

  • All I have to say is "Avenue Q - Everyone's a Little Bit Racist"

  • @whoarentyou is that a book or a movie?

  • @rednecktrucker1969 It's a song from a broadway musical.

  • @whoarentyou ok thanks

  • Comment removed

  • so speaks a "friend" that does not know the name of his friend what was wrong that you allowed yourself to be so pc cause of words

  • @jamespoynor653 In school it was more of a forced segrigation. The teachers said, "that kid" is special and needs to be with his own kind. Messed me up for years, Glad I met you, and you educated me on the finer points of being human. I think of you often man, love you much.

  • I don't think you fully grasped the point of my video. I wasn't defending or deriding PC vernacular. I was referring to points of debates that have nothing to do with political correctness at all, and the fact that some people will pull the "you're just be PC" card when it is made clear that their arguments aren't based in fact, but on personal bias. And as a half-breed with a partner who is queer, do you seriously think I would choose adult baby-talk for fear of offending someone?

  • @xxxThePeachxxx I got your video, even watched it 3 times, I just thought that the term "PC" is overused and has many different connotaions, and that aspect was not explored or defined, so this is really to point out how the trem has failed us. It is illdefined and overused, many times to our own detriment. Was not meaning to bash you, just show a counterpoint.

  • @rednecktrucker1969 No argument there. It's definitely overused. My point is that it is so overused, it's even applied to situations in which political correctness has nothing to do with the situation at hand. BTW, that story about the handicapped child being made separate is a fine example of how schools take a very bad approach with building their social skills.

  • How come obesity is almost never considered regarding people's feelings and political correctness? I'm saying it's not alright to use a pejorative in regards to race or stereotypes but come across a heavy person who's bugging someone and it's open season on the name calling people will use. What's up with that?

  • @bigboy45454545 check back on this video in a couple of days, I am sure I will get at least one comment about not wearing a shirt and being fet. Thats ok to me though, just like a gay person knows they are gay and a black person knows they are black, I know I am fat....just please dont call me "exorcise challenged"....lol
