umm by street LEGAL it means stock suspension, drove it to the track and raced it then drove it home, no tubs, no 4 link rear. stock rear, 3.73 gear built tranny and motor with a cage - driven on the street legally every day!

cast iron 2 valve block, patriot heads, crower cams , whipple blower and 100 shot on 1/2 second delay. slicks where 30 inch tall if i remember correctly

thats freaking fast for a street truck...some people get ahead of themselves and think automatically of johnny lightning and his truck is strictly track........JDM Engineering did a good job on building this truck for setting this record for now.

"Street Lightning" is the Title its held. There are Race Only Lightning's that are faster yes. I also happen to know Johnny personally and amof he was at the track with me the day I also ran a 9.9.

although it is a fast Lightning and i like it, it's not the worlds fastest lightning. johhny lightning is the fastest at 8.07 on a weak tune.
