  • How can I train with any of the Yamakasi? I really want to learn more of this art, I train by myself, but it might not be enough. I want to learn what they can teach.

  • WE WANT SUB SPANISH PLEASE!!

  • @kikemuevete I can sub it for you, just tell slamcamspam if he would let me do it!

  • @pumas58 really so thanks but lucky for me i found this video withs subs y a friend's house but really thanks ;)

  • This is a great man

  • I Think the problem is that parkour is being Diluted, with each new generation we lose the basics and focus on who can do the biggest jumps, i think we need to go back to the source... to the purity of movement were we aspire to become stronger and take advantage of our environment

we can grow stronger as a community by focusing on growing stronger ourselves

  • My Opinion : David Belle Wisest Man Of The World

  • Why the hell was a selena gomez advertisement allowed anywhere near this video?

  • When he speaks of "walking" he means learning the basics right?

  • @Suckmygoth He's not saying "walking" he's saying "working". I thought it was "walking" at first too

  • @Suckmygoth he's saying working

  • Amazing story, thanks for putting it up ^^ Really thought provoking...

  • he should show dwight and michael how to parkour properly

  • That was fockin inspiring. I, just as Stephane once was, am suffering from a bad leg injury, and this was really cool to watch.

  • hey guys can you make a portuguese legend?

or you know where i can find it?

    pls

  • why was the black guy's sweater sensored?

  • @EivindS94 Probly to keep from advertising what ever was on it, prevent any copyright or whatever.

  • !it was like a dream.....FFFFTTTT ... i did it , i know , i dont remember , anything i know i have feeling , becose you were FFFUUUUUUUUFFF / / ...like this"

  • ALGUIEN QUE LO TRADUZCA AL ESPAÑOLLLLL!!!!!!!

  • Does anyone know how I can get in contact with Stephane? I am living in Thailand at the moment, and even though this video was shot a couple years ago, if he's still in Thailand I'd really love to train with him.

  • @BatmanGroove24

add him on facebook, same name

  • @BatmanGroove24 Try Facebook.

  • Inspiring. Nice guy.

  • guy is extremely good but very humble very lucky he got to train under david belle

  • I just can watch it over and over again <3 really cool stuff =)

  • i used to think if parkour as an extreme sport like skateboarding. but after seeing this i see it closer to a martial art in the aspects of discipline and also an art

  • this is the most best documentary done by a good traceur

sorry if i didnt spell the last word right :)

  • Six people get monkey's poo flung at them.

  • Respect!

  • it ok staphin I buy you some croisunt lol

  • this... wow. where i live, there aren't many traceurs, so i dont have the chance to learn parkour. i've watched many many videos, but after this one i realised that parkour is what i want to learn. i gotta find out how to learn it, no matter what it takes.

  • parkour is discipline and art of move but not sport

  • @Taniamylove1 he is french....he may find it difficult to explain what is parkour for him in english words. So,listen to what he tells and u we'll be convinced he thinks the same as u

  • Thumbs up if you watched the whole video :)

  • Emil!! Dance SuperStar

    germans talent no.1

  • parkour is not sport!

  • @emanueldolo you are stupid yes it is and do you free run or parkour?

  • @loo101010

No, you are stupid if you think parkour is sport.

It is non-competitive, physical discipline or simply: the art of movement.

Like skateboarding or freestyling on bmx isn't sport..

Both of them are some kind of art.

    And yes, I do parkour.

  • hey do you think he can help me out im trying to teach my friends but i only know so much and if so dont send to this email pleace send to skaterboy1224433@aim.com thank i would love to learn more from the best

  • Urban Free Flow is kinda a joke now, they really went against the Parkour spirit and caused a lot of drama. lots of media attention ect. now they take other peoples videos and put them on their profile.

  • why is forest's chest get censored?

  • @MrTrust1993 maybe there's a urban freeflow logo on it ;)

  • I herd this quote from a guy on the jiyo park video "we don't stop playing because we grow up, we grow up because we stop playing" that just hit me so hard and i loved it because im starting to find more and more people who want to keep parkour at it's roots and im just glad to see that there are more of us out there. I don't know if parkour can change the world but it would seem there are those of us who going to try damn hard to change it for the better

  • 5 people left david belle :)

  • How can you dislike this?

  • Best Documentary

  • Daily-News at:

    Usa-Today-News[.]blogspot[.]com

  • long like hell!! (=

  • your telling me ^^

  • Stephane is my idol, thanks to him I know what real parkour is :)

  • Stephane is such an inspiration to me. He trains so hard every day. Parkour has changed my life, but I want to be near his level one day. Look at 15:57

  • Stephane was and still is such an inspiration .for me. He trains so hard every day. Parkour has changed my life, but it isn't on the level he is. That is where I hope to be some day

  • nice breach of copyright removing the U$F start, blacking out the U$F shirt...

    Very classy...

  • Watching this film again its like get back to the first days of training (if you were influeced by this, of course). This remains you how important its getting to the basics on certains periods of time in your training. Just beautiful.

  • Definitely the best Video about Parkour ive seen on youtube.

Its not a "omg see what i can, you can never do that" video. Its much more about content, philosophy everything. Really, really nice work

  • were is that wall that had those rocks stickin out?

  • @SEPHROTH101 if youre talking about the wall that is seen in david belles vids its in liselle paris. if yu search daniel ilabanca i think thats how its spelled? then you will see the name of the location in case i mispelled it. =]

  • @SEPHROTH101 I guess you're talking about the Dame du Lac, it's in Lisses outside of Paris ;) Really awesome place with so much history :D

  • In these days people forget the smaller details from parkour.

  • This video is so awesome to watch! But the thing is that my cousin is on the same team as him, Parkour Generations. Go check out the website. His name is John Conway and he just got certified as an Affiliate Coach. It under Resources btw. This is so crazy and inspirational

  • Why is the imprint on Forrest's Shirt censored?

  • I love his way of life, what he did to become a big tracer, and i will never forget, work is the secret !

  • did he say he was practicing since he was 7? damn man no wonder he's so good at parkour

  • @spratman1100 Probably he's been practicing for 7 years ;)

  • wht is at his pulli at 12:50 ? :D

  • Damn Forrest stop advertising with ur sweatshirts.

  • this guys awsome nice thumbs up

  • Do you guys think that Vigroux is capable of Ilabaca's big jumps but just wants to stay safe because he's quite a bit older now?

Of course Ilabaca has also taken gymnastics before right?

  • @TheDayIsNotLost i think Vigroux can do Illabaca's stunts, it's just there aren't much of stunts videos of him, he's more about the basic "going from A to B" parkour, not the "do it as pretty as possible" one

  • tema

  • I think some people don't understand that Stephane Vigroux is one of the principle developers of parkour. He has trained for nearly 10 years, and much of that time was spent with David Belle and other members of the original group of guys (the Yamakasi) who were responsible for creating and developing this discipline.

  • wow these guys are amazing... not ta mention hilarious. luv it! ^,..,^

  • I think this is stupid... I mean i love parkour its a effing life style... But idk its like this is stupid to me i don't know why its like they made parkour technical and awkward such a simple thing you dong think you just feel and do turned turned into TONS of instructions when it really takes very little instruction

  • @manatyson I dont think technique, means doing something the same way someone else does it.

It's more, mastering the way you do it, so you're as efficient as possible.

  • whats on his shirt?

  • Very inspiring! He really gets the essence or parkour :)

  • His English is a Little Confuse

  • If you live in the USA and would like an opportunity to meet and train with Stephane and other members of Parkour Generations and the Yamakasi, please visit the Parkour Horizons or Parkour Generations websites for more info regarding the upcoming American Rendezvous event, May 29-30, 2010 in Columbus, Ohio.

  • @muxammad holy crap! u serious!? i live like 20 minutes frum there! and i just missed it! T,..,T

  • Great video. The story about the monkeys at the end was hilarious.

  • So inspiring :)

  • I used to watch this on the b13 dvd everytime I went out training =)

  • thank you for putting this up! i love watching parkour videos that aren't just showreels.

  • wow... i would soooo be honored by this guys presense lol

  • wow... i would soooo be honored by this guys presense lol

  • wow they where really young here it's nice to see how they started, like jeez they are amazing!

  • I think that this is definately the best way to train. As o right now, that's my way!

  • I think that this is definately the best way to train. As o right now, that's my way!

  • I think that this is definately the best way to train. As o right now, that's my way!

  • "how are you Forrest?"... "good... and you?" "...I am trying to make you fall down."

  • awsome! Just plain awsome!

  • hope david belle can join them again =) it would be nice seeing david belle with them training again

  • Sooo motivational :)

  • yes finally it made his way to youtube ^^ i think every one who practice parkour should have seen this...the pure truth about parkour...stephane was really an great inspiration...i have big respect for him!

  • @ParkourSchweiz I think there are too many people in parkour that don't know the "truth" and thinking behind it, your right.

  • @TEQparkour I feel sad for david and the rest from the beginning...even if they dont care...i think its a shame what happend with this art...but then when I see people who have the spirit and passion for parkour it makes me happy again :)

  • @ParkourSchweiz i think ur right dude it makes me sad that people do parkour for money i dont know if this is true but does 3run do parkour for a livin ? or money ? :sorry for my bad english

  • Yes! Finally! This video is so valuable!

  • soooo nice

    The truth about parkour !

    love from germany ;)

  • this video is SOOO much better without the glyph signs everywhere

  • does anyone know what trainers it is that Stephane Vigroux is wearing

  • One of the best practitioners and documentary

  • have this on my comp... :)

very inspirational video... I watch it sometimes....

  • A friend of mine sent this to me when i first started parkour. It really changed how i saw parkour and how i trained. Every now and then i watch this video to remind myself what parkour really is.

  • Finally it's on youtube! Thank you Julie! ;) Very good to see this inspirational video on here. This is a must see for any practicioner and has meant a lot for me and many others in the past. Excellent depiction of what parkour is and how it should be looked at. A good history lesson as well for many.

    Simply thank you!

  • epic, simply epic :) well worth watching :) now im all smiley :) just makes you wanna train :)

  • why is forrest's jumper blurred out where the uf glyph is?

  • @JustElijah Stephan said that he hates Business around Parkour people just trying to make money out of it , money was what splitted most of his friend apart thats why he had it blurred it through all the video he doesn't really like Urbanfreeflow

  • @ThePatrik94 hmm ok cool, not may people who do parkour as a discipline like urban freeflow, they're exploiting parkour and making money from it, when really they should be helping pepole for free and guiding them to better themselves in the art of movement. they have all sorts of little gimmicks that are unnecessary for someone who wants to start parkour, you were born with parkour in your blood, you will do it after you learn to walk, you don't need UF telling you to buy wristbands and bags.

  • @JustElijah Yes Thats True , Wish you all the best man

  • @JustElijah why do it for free if u can make money of doing what u love ? stop being so ignorant

  • @thehyphebusta ok i have stopped being ignorant and i full-heartedly agree with what you're saying, now that i'm on your side, whatever you think of me is what you think of yourself so fire away with the insults :D

  • finally on youtube

  • i saw this on the dvd extra's for district 13

  • Same....but this one seems to be a bit footage than that one. just a tiny one...

  • yeah, one of the best - i think the best documentary about parkour ever =) just soo nice; i really like the spirit, stephane shows here :)

  • its kind of funny that forrests UF logo is blurred out...

  • Haha! so much for Urban Free Flow.

  • The power of David Belle's Training and teaching, incomparable- an amazing and modest man, we owe everything in Parkour to him.
