The only reason that happened is because of neglect to be properly prepared.
All in all it sucks but its your fault and tree planting isnt that bad.
Your boot is too big 2 pairs of socks for sure or adress the problem early.
Toss on a bandaid and cover it with duct tape early and it ll heal up.
