its a pity they were unable to weather the influx of rock and roll but black artist had a hard time getting record deal s unless you were white and sung like elvis presley in my opinion.

The young man in the middle is Milt Trenier. And yes he is still performing every month in the Chicago area. Chicago's rockabilly community is proud as hell to have this legend in our midst. He is STILL the greatest!!!

I saw the Treniers at the Showboat in AC I guess in 2003 or so . Claude Trenier was the main guy out front. They were incredible and this is after 60 years in show business! The energy, the rock, the charisma , and the humor were all still there. Sadly Claude passed and I don't know if they are still performing but I know no one could ever take Claude Trenier's place.

One of the Treniers is still going strong in Chicago, but here's a word of appreciation for the tenor saxophone player. Try playing sometime while moving around like that!
