"Wear short sleeves or long sleeves" is just like saying "Wear whatever you want". And the whole sandals thing about how you shouldn't wear them cause a light might crush your toe is irrelevant. A 20 pound light will not care if your wearing shoes or sandals, it will still fuck up your foot. I'd suggest steel toe boots, given all these god dammed lights are going to crush my feet. I'm going to flag this video for its immaterial.

Im the light and sound director at my high school's theater, and shouldn't backstage/PA outfit be long sleeve long pants all black?

Also, not only are they heavy, studio and stage lights get up to 935F ;)
