  • ..i have just tried this out, i put some on my face and then everywhere else in the shower. it tasted lovely haha, my skin is soooo soft so ill deffinately do this again however i dont think ill use it as a face scrub its a little too harsh for my face.

  • @xxFallenDestinyxx :) Glad to hear you liked it ! xoxox

  • I love this!! A friend told me about it and I have done it twice so far. My skin feels awesome!!

  • @sylnanu yay, good to hear xxoo

  • Does extra virgin olive oil work?

  • QUESTION! :)

I've been breaking out more than normal lately, so will this help with acne??

  • @goldangel100 no this would not help with acne. what is your skin routine ? have you changed anything recently in diet or product ? what is your skin type and how old are you ?

  • @glamology I'm 16 and i have somewhat oily skin. I haven't really changed me diet all that much. Normally i wash my face once in the morning and once at night with a gentle facial cleanser, and exfoliate with biore scrub once a week. Sometimes i use an oatmeal/ honey/ milk mask which seemed to help at the beginning, but it seems like my skin has become "non-responsive" to it now :(

  • @goldangel100 have you heard of good for you girls ? they have a line for oily/acne skin for teens. I sell this on mintandberry Canadian website. if you are from the states they are a state base company. Very affective without harass chemical or hormone disrupting ingredient. Sounds like your skin just needs a bit more care

  • Can I use this scrub everyday?

  • How long can you keep this scrub for if you were making it to give as a gift? Thank you :)

  • @hiyeeea I would keep this only the week, so make it fresh:)

  • @hiyeeea once a week is best :)

  • Yes this is an excellent scrub. If you are finding that you want to try something a little lighter, adding some brown sugar to Argan oil. This also has many health benefits for the skin nails and hair. Also for a really deep cleansing you could try adding a bit of brown sugar to your daily liquid cleanser. This works too. Hope this helps

  • to GLAMOLOGY (by the way, creative name). I have oily skin, open pores-black and white heads..I hate it...you think it will be good to scrub? I know I need to remove debris from my skin. I am thinkig of using this once a week and use yogurt mask every day.

  • Great recipe! I'll use this on my face but I'm worried about open pores. I recently starting using an organic beauty line of products and since I started exfoliating a few months ago, noticed open pores on my cheeks. If I switch to olive oil and sugar exfoliation once weekly, how do I close my pores right after? I've never had this problem before, when I didn't exfoliate.

  • @saleha1980 Well the thing about pores is they can become enlarged when oil caused by your sebaceous is in over drive-oily skinned clients. Also sometimes when you use something on your skin that is a little too rich for your skin that particular time (it changes with hormones/weather etc), sometimes they my appear to become enlarged.

  • Also we have your skin cycle, eventually cells die and so its really important to remove them. When you have a beautifully exfoliated skin your pores may be more apparent, not necessarily bigger, because you have removed all of the debris. Your solution, an astringent toner (mint and berry Fennel Sage), also you might try using a cold face cloth after you cleanse. Your exfoliant should be fine.

  • If you are finding that sometimes the olive oil is too rich, just add the sugar to your cleanser, but only do this once may be twice/week still, but really you should change it up. Your skin will fluctuate like and with the weather. Hope this helps!

  • I have skin care line called Clinigen-Hill and I want you to try it on your show and tell every one how much you like it. Can you let mek now if this is some thing you want to do. ?

  • i've applied a liberal helping to my pubic region. not seeing any improvements from just using regular soap.

  • if i used brown sugar and vegetable oil would that make a difference instead of using olive oil?

  • @Ashleysbeauty100 yes veg oil might clog your pores !

  • i mixed brown sugar and coco nut oil together and it smelled and tasted so good i made it into a salad dressing,,:}

  • @nirvgardengod Sure, but those are better as a moisturizer applied after the scrub.

  • how many times should we exfoliate our body/face?

  • @DragonEyes997 once a week :)

  • is extra light olive oil ok???

  • @urilcamm sure :)

  • @glamology thanks

  • @Emily16009 Hahaha aww, XD don't be scared, try it once and see for yourself...but make sure you buy extra virgin, pure, light olive oil. Remember that Olive oil is one of the substances that is good for your skin and body. Good luck! :D

  • @glamology ok thx and I hear sugar helps reduce the appearance of pores it's helped on my nose :D woodnt this take a long time to get exfoliation done on ur body with this ? Can a body puff help exfoliate a bit ?

  • @AquaCatClaws Sure you can try a body puff. I have done this treatment in the shower and it didnt take very long

  • The same olive oil u use to cook ?

  • @AquaCatClaws yup! the best is extra virgin cold pressed olive oil

  • white sugar!

  • Im diabetic is all that sugar safe for me if its used on the skin?

  • @Thesethlans Not to sure you should ask your Dr or try salt instead !

  • @Adryuuki please look up canola oil on wikipedia before you use it. youll change your mind.

  • I prefer white

  • Can I use Jojoba oil?

  • @msgermain2010 Sure you can:)

  • @Adryuuki Sure

  • This video (with your hair pulled tight into the braids) shows how much more gorgeous you would look in a short haircut!

  • @bobbette7 thanks - I dont have the courage to cut my hair :)

  • @glamology Curious... courage? Cause (Hair grows back) your face is so pretty so just sayin!

  • @bobbette7 true :)

  • oh mighty olive oil...I love olive oil, you can use it in so many things...skin care, salads, and stir fry's.

  • @watermelonlara so true!! :)

  • i read tht olive oil doesnt help :P?

  • @auroraionaa Olive Oil is a great moisturizer :)

  • @glamology yes but i have acne i have to much oil on my skin im trying to get rid of it lol :s

  • @auroraionaa lol ya this is not for you if you have acne skin

  • @auroraionaa Hello :) you know, you can make a facial scrub for oily skin too...Use 1/2 cup oatmeal(whole), 1TBS plain organic yogurt and 1tsp lemon, mix well and apply for 10-15 minutes then rinse...it use to help me get rid of my oily skin, i hope it helps you as well ^^

  • @auroraionaa

    Actually ^-^

Olive oil doesn't clog your pores I heard.

It removes oil and dirt. Haha I know some people

who use just olive oil as a cleanser and they have acne prone skin.

    It's pretty good stuff. :)

I use it, I have sensitive and dry skin.

    But oily on my nose.

  • YE LOOK like demi lovato a bit :)

  • @hepziee aww thanks :)

  • You are my lifesaver. Thanks SO SO much!!!!!!! :D

  • @Shoppingstar525 Awesome! :) Let me know how you like the scrub.

  • @glamology haha, k. No problem(;

  • @Shoppingstar525 at first, it felt too rough, but after a few seconds, the sugar started to dissolve into my skin, and then all that was left, was the oil to take it's effect. So the oil made my skin feel feel really soft of course, and it felt like i already put lotion on my body even though i was already in the shower. I experienced the same exact thing when i put this stuff on my face. So after i was finally done with my shower, i dried myself off with my towel, and surprisingly, my skin

  • @Shoppingstar525 didn't feel oily. It felt dry again. Not super duper dry, but my skin didn't feel so moisturized as when i was in the shower. But still, since i used oil on my skin, i decided not to moisturize my face or body after my shower was done. Is that the right thing to do? Oh, and i didn't cleanse b4 or after using this mixture. Is that the right thing to do??

  • @glamology ok, so i tried it this afternoon in my skin. I didn't put in olive oil in the sugar to where the whole mixture becomes a liquid, but i put in enough to cover all the sugar with it, so the mixture is still very lumpy and it's kind of a light yellow color. So i used it on my body and face in the shower. I first fully got wet, turned off the shower, and then started rubbing the stuff onto my skin.

  • Good stuff =) I was wondering can I use almond oil instead of olive oil ??

  • @MsJoy4ever for sure:)

  • Hey i love ur vids they are awesome! you are so helpful and you make it all so easy!! :) thanks for all the green tips!! I was wondering how often can you use the scrub? and can i use it on the same days as the honey/egg white facial mask?

  • @datcolombian01 Scrub once a week or if skin is thin once every two weeks. This scrub is strong. you can use the honey egg after the brown sugar scrub :)

  • hi, how could i add a scent to this scrub, would adding a few drops of essential oil be ok or would you have other suggestions? thanks for the video!

  • @ciapcioszek for sure :) add any favorite essential oil to this mixture

  • some1 looks good
