I definitely agree with you. At the end of the day, it's a game. That's all it's meant to be. People can make whatever they want and don't have to stick to the original design of a story. Games like this make me want to go out and buy a PS3 or 360. The graphics are amazing!

1:25 is suppose to be Cerberus who guards the third circle of hell and the gluttons. looks a lot freakier than I thought it would. I just hope they keep everything somewhat true to the book, at least then it'll be half decent.
Basic information of the original story. Dante is the writer of the poem and he's in hell guided by vergilius. beatrice was the neighbour of dante's and dante fell in love with her and thats why he put her in the story. she was dante's guide in heaven. she was never some kind of prison in hell who supposed to be saved by dante..
the graphics in the actual gameplay look crap But there is still a year to go till its out so they will most likely get better. Everyone is annoying me, saying that its straying away from the book. But it would not be good game if it stuck to the book. For you would not have to fight a single creature.
I've read the book, but I don't remember readin about a huge monster, and a big pink thing with three mouths. I think that one mught be Cerberus though, so I'm not entirely sure. And Dante never fought any of the demons in Hell did he? And where was the waterfall with everyone in it..

Yes, I'm pretty sure that is supposed to be Cerberus, because that appears to be the cirlcle for Gluttony, whom he was the gaurdian of. And actually, it does describe Cerberus's heads as appearing more humanoid, not so much like a dog.

OUTER RING:Holds the violent against people and property like throwing toilet paper on someones house or something X.x or WORSE~.PUNISHMENT: They are in Boiling Blood and fire arrows are shot at those who try to leave OUCH!
MIDDLE RING: SUICIDE!!! kill your self then your here. They are turned into thorny bushes and torned to pieces.
Hate toward HADES. HAdes is the enemy by the way in the book. OKay after that Dante reaches DIS The City Of The Dead were he can not pass because medusa and the harpies will not let him but soon a angel comes and leads the way down WHOO-HOO. OKay

PUNISHMENT is well first off there are guarded by Cerberus the three headed dog and Cerberus will not let Dante and Virgil pass but anyway. They waste there life doing nothing so they must suffer WASTE(Poop and sewage) being dumped on them. Live in some gross slush with freezing rain,black snow, and hail.Poor them. NEXT
CIRCLE FOUR:The greedy and whatever.PUNISHMENT: Okay its confusing but they Push rocks to the center of the circle and back because they end up bumping into each other
CIRCLE TWO: (By the way the women at the beggining is Bearice. She is Dante's fantasy of the perfect women and she guides him to hell)Okay circle two holds the one's who commited LUST~ WHOOOOO. okay well the PUNISHMENT: They must suffer a endless storm(thunder lightning tornadoes and such X.x) While they spin round and round in the storm we move on =).
CIRCLE THREE: GLUTTONESS!! Those who eat to much or spend there time doing only one stinkin thing or have a wasteful life =) There PUNISHMENT
They are Nine Circles I wil try not to go into details but if the game follows the book corectly then this will be the punishments for each circle of Hell.
Cirlce One: Limbo
The unbaptized and the pagans. basically here holds the people who didnt do wrong or holds a sinful hearts they just didnt show respect to god or give him there faith.PUNISHMENT: the punishment is simple nothing as you suffer the fate from separation of god. Limbo is a green plain with a castle.
you know whats amazing Dante's Inferno(love that book) Is not a story told to be violent and gruesome but it is a story about how Dante see's Hell and his description upon it. It is aso a story of him having a dream. How Virgil guides him through hell to get to Purgatory and from purgatory to Paradiso. Depending on how horrible your sins were will send you down to a ring in hell I can tell you the punishment in each ring =) this game looks pretty good too though. ^^
Looks like a nice game, but I think Dante needs a redesign and his dead lover looks plain odd in this trailer. I find how Cerberus was done as...interesting. At least I think that strange 3 headed worm monster with only mouths is Cerberus...

simple differences, the game's environment is bloody and chaotic, the literature is filthy as irony as ways in each sinner's behaviors.
obviosly the charaters' role had been dramticly altered thus they can sell Dante's Purgorio & Paradiso later on...

1:36,(is a good pic of cerberus) u see guys, its a video game, nobody on earth knows what cerberus even looks like, or in fact if he even exists. Again its a video game, meant to be played, beaten, and then forgotten, all artists and gamers have their different views and perspectives of " Monster artwork " dont critizize, let em do their own thing, this game looks pretty killer, cant wait to play it on my PS3:)

I definitely agree with you. At the end of the day, it's a game. That's all it's meant to be. People can make whatever they want and don't have to stick to the original design of a story. Games like this make me want to go out and buy a PS3 or 360. The graphics are amazing!

1:25 is suppose to be Cerberus who guards the third circle of hell and the gluttons. looks a lot freakier than I thought it would. I just hope they keep everything somewhat true to the book, at least then it'll be half decent.

Basic information of the original story. Dante is the writer of the poem and he's in hell guided by vergilius. beatrice was the neighbour of dante's and dante fell in love with her and thats why he put her in the story. she was dante's guide in heaven. she was never some kind of prison in hell who supposed to be saved by dante..

the graphics in the actual gameplay look crap But there is still a year to go till its out so they will most likely get better. Everyone is annoying me, saying that its straying away from the book. But it would not be good game if it stuck to the book. For you would not have to fight a single creature.

I've read the book, but I don't remember readin about a huge monster, and a big pink thing with three mouths. I think that one mught be Cerberus though, so I'm not entirely sure. And Dante never fought any of the demons in Hell did he? And where was the waterfall with everyone in it..
Other than a couple of things that I'm confused about, it looks like a pretty good game. But I think if you've red to the book you'll be a bit let down..
We'll have to wait and see. =)

Yes, I'm pretty sure that is supposed to be Cerberus, because that appears to be the cirlcle for Gluttony, whom he was the gaurdian of. And actually, it does describe Cerberus's heads as appearing more humanoid, not so much like a dog.
The storyline does seem to be missing or adding a few things, but I guess it's too early to tell yet.

PUNISHMENT is well first off there are guarded by Cerberus the three headed dog and Cerberus will not let Dante and Virgil pass but anyway. They are Nine Circles I wil try not to go into details but if the game follows the book corectly then this will be the punishments for each circle of Hell.
Cirlce One: Limbo
The unbaptized and the pagans. basically here holds the people who didnt do wrong or holds a sinful hearts they just didnt show respect to god or give him there faith.PUNISHMENT: the punishment is simple nothing as you suffer the fate from separation of god. Limbo is a green plain with a castle.

you know whats amazing Dante's Inferno(love that book) Is not a story told to be violent and gruesome but it is a story about how Dante see's Hell and his description upon it. It is aso a story of him having a dream. How Virgil guides him through hell to get to Purgatory and from purgatory to Paradiso. Depending on how horrible your sins were will send you down to a ring in hell I can tell you the punishment in each ring =) this game looks pretty good too though. ^^

Looks like a nice game, but I think Dante needs a redesign and his dead lover looks plain odd in this trailer. I find how Cerberus was done as...interesting. At least I think that strange 3 headed worm monster with only mouths is Cerberus...
