You can only perform that zip by using a keyboard. You press down+up buttons simultaneously.

You stand at the top of the ladder. When you stand there, press down+up buttons at the same time. If you can not get it to work, I believe it has something to do with the keyboard-configuration. For example, if you have downbutton as downarrow at the keyboard, and upbutton as uparrow, maybe your keyboard wont be able to process the command. Therefore, try to put the upbutton and downbutton somewhere else on the keyboard: try down as letter "A" and up as letter "W".

go up to the wall next to it and equip gutsmans throw move. do this three times and it gives you a beam that can be extended and repeated to create 3 second platforms. that crazy dr light and his screwy inventions

I tried to beat Elecman your way, eventually he just jumped on Megaman's head.

After getting hit by the electric beam, you didn't get knocked off, what the fuck is that all about?

As you can see when I am batteling Elecman, I shoot one shot at a certain time. That is because when Elecman gets hit, he is invurneble for a certain amount of time: you can see Elecman flashing white during that time. When he stops flashing then you can shoot him again. I timed my shots along with him stop flashing, which was exactly right time for him before he could jump on Megamans head.

Oh yeah there is anotherway to get the magnet beam without gutsmans stretgth nd it isn' a cheat. you can also use elecman's power to pass the blocks.

Also Electman can be pushed back like cutman when you shoot him personally I had more trouble with iceman using only the mega buster then Elecman

You can only do that on the computer by using the keyboard. You can do that wether the game is PAL och NTSC, but as I wrote before you can only do it on the keyboard since you have to press UP+DOWN at the same time. That is of course impossle on a NES-control.

In fact... Getting magnet beam like that on the real nes system is impossible without taking apart a controller.

To do this, you need to use Up+Down at the same time, which is impossible on the original nes controllers... But is possible on keyboard.

Hey, thanks! I was researching this possibility of getting the Magnetic Beam in Elecman's stage without using Elecman or Gutsman after seeing a tool-assisted version ('thanks' to member Taipion) when you showed me this beautiful conclusion... And you did it without mapping over files and stuff!
