i remember learning how to play the swaravarisais, and all i can say is that swaravaraisais are the basis of everything and i just hope you become a great musican through practice. i do agree with the people who say that you should've posted a song instead of swaravarasais, or at least perfected the swaravaraisas. anyways one adivse that i would offer as a fellow veena player is to have fun and enjoy playing and everything else will follow, good luck!
have you heard the word "gamaka" before??the thalas where horrible and you where just happily plucking away every note..a veena is much more beyond that...kid we all would like to show off our skills to the outside world, but as the other poster said you got a long way to go before you even attempt to flaunt your otherwise mediocre skills to the outside world..no offence...you can only improve though..my word of advice is that keep your skills to yourself till you atleast get half decent
seriously, ive been playing the veena for many years now,and ive finally come to understand that you will progress only if you play it for your own satisfaction...
You could have waited to get a little better before posting this on youtube. The Veena is a noble instrument, and deserves to be respected and presented to the world in the best possible way. Anyway, best wishes.
a good start, we all have to start somewhere and it is better to make a move to learn than not learn at all.
keep up the good work ,kid.
