Red you are an idiot. Rage just isn't the same band since they came back, their 97 and 98 shows were WAY more intense and full of 'rage' and energy.

As for Daft Punk, I can't put into words just how awesome the pyramid sets are. Vegoose was my 2nd time, I caught them in NY at Coney Island first. 2nd time around was just as good as the first.

Everyone who was there knows, we are all a bunch of daft punk converts. I see people wearing the shirt and we have an instantaneous bond. Love it.

i saw daft at lollapooza and thought they where amazing. did anyone see both lolla and vegoose if so what did you think about the two shows.

Daft Punk was AMAZING. And they put on a really great show. However, Rage just has this presence on stage that makes everyone go crazy. Being in the pits during Rage was definitely the highlight of the festival for me. Daft Punk's show will still be one of the highlights of my life though. :)

I was at both days of Vegoose, and I though Daft Punk put on a waaayyyyy better show than Rage. That's not to say Rage wasn't good, but I mean, they finished half an hour early, didn't even do an encore, and honestly, when you try and compare that to Daft Punks set at Vegoose, which was easily on the most memorable moments of my life, it just doesn't stack up.

After thinking about the entire Daft Punk set, it's easily the best musical set I've seen. The only comparable set would be seeing Mono 9/21 at the El Rey. Both absolutely amazing.

i've been to a lot of shows and festivals, and daft punk at lollapalooza was BY FAR the best fucking show i've seen in my life. being in the energy and the togetherness of everyone dancing together, plus seeing that eye-melting lightshow and feeling the bass vibrate every cell in my body... fucking powerful.

it was the most inspiring thing i've ever been a part of.

I saw these guys at Coachella for their first U.S. show... and at Vegoose for their last. I'd have to say the last show was *better* in terms of lights and music, but the first one could never be forgotten because nobody had ever seen anything like it before.
