People get easily confused. Phazon has no gender. Metroid Prime was a he. He stole Samus's suit and DNA (she-DNA), making Dark Samus. I now assume Dark Samus to be a Jerkette, not your usual Jerk.

Look, in the End of Metroid prime 1, *SPOILERS* You pwn Metroid Prime, but 'it' steals your Phazon suit and some genes and a chromosome or two. The impact crater blows up and MP is reduced to a pile of oozing phazon. *END OF SPOILERS* HOWEVER, a hand shoots out of the pile and thus, Dark Samus is born. Since the genes and chromosomes were taken from a female character and used by a non-sexual creature, the non-sexual creature is NOW considered a female.

So yeah, it's a "She".

dark samus and the aurora unit are the easiest bosses in the hole game and in my opinion omega ridley is the hardest boss

i recently finished the game for the first time, meanig on easy mode, but the final bosses were WAY to easy on easy mode, not even slightly a challenge... Gandrayda was harder to beat...

Metroid Prime 3 is the only game of the Prime series that I've been able to beat. I got really close to beating the first one, but Emperor Ing is giving me too much trouble in the second.

i beat emporer ing on the hard difficalty of that game just barlely. i dare say its one of the hardest bosses in any video game. timing and shooting the strongest shots at the right times seems to be the best strategy for him.

if u shoot a hyper missile at dark samus tight after she does the phazon shield attack, it will stun her, giving u more time to attack (when she stomps on the ground, and phazon comes out, short range attack)

Well, Meroid Prime did absorb Samus DNA with her Phazon suit, so that could make her girl. But ultimately, the answer either way does little to change anything.

1. They have no visor

2.If you use the X-ray visor DS is the only one with a heat signature

3.If you scan the clones they're referred to as dark echos

@KillerHeroes Well, since the Metroid Prime copied Samus' human DNA, which contains the chromosome pair for gender, it probably became a she. However, whatever notion of gender Phazon or metroids have is unknown, the gender may have been dropped along with other seemingly "useless" traits from Samus during Dark Samus' formation.
