@jdubz201 almost every tuner will tell you to stay away from mobil 1 with our boxer motors. I'm not certain why but I'm guessing it has to do with the viscosity levels and blow by as a result of running this brand. I just got y new motor and I'm running Rotella T 15 40w for the first 4,500mi then will transistion back to Castrol. Our engine are strong but tempermental!
FYI on break in's never boost your car nor drive above 4,200rpm the first 1,000mi. Use Rotella T 15 40w oil and change oil at 300 mi, 1,000mi 1,500mi and 3,000mi. Don't use synthetic until 4,500mi and NEVER run Mobil 1. With that said, a simple stage 2 at 91 oct and TBE will put you at about 270-285whp and 290-300wftq. Get an intake and a protune and you'll break the 300whp mark. And an FP Green turbo would better suit your driving needs. So much more reliable..... ;)

@klo342 It's because the air is getting colder so your tire pressure decreases but when it gets warmer just put air in it.. if you keep putting air in your tire when the air is cold it's just going to keep happening.

@aznblueeboi if its 276 at the wheels then its way more then 310 at the crank. WRX"s due to the awd system have over a 18% drivetrain loss. so even if you have 276 at the wheels. doubt it with an accesport but whatever you have like 340 at the crank. so everyone was wrong.
@Schaffeur 276awhp for the 09 going stage 2 would be on the conservative side. My 09 with Invidia downpipe and catback plus a boost controller made 290whp after being tuned(mildy aggressive tune but none the less). And I've seen this on more than just mine, another with larger injectors/fuel pump is making 330whp running E85. The new WRX's have amazing potential.
You'll pass the initial test but will definitely fail the visual test. I've heard and seen guys complain about this all over the place. Best thing to do is to take it off or find someone that will pass you.
Stage 2 wrx is an exhaust and downpipe and a tune. To get tuned you will either need a Cobb accessport or they have programs they can flash the ecu.
