Amazing this album isn't considered more of a classic. I guess with all it's commercial success it gets pinned in with a lot of pop stuff from the 80's but it's one of the best things to have happened that decade.

You have to really dislike someone to ignore who they are as a person, and believe only tabloids without verification. Mata Hari had been celebrated, but her tragedy was the way the tabloids could bring her down, and that the very thing the public wanted could became her undoing. This could never happen to Marilyn. She will never fade away.

It's so sad this band disbanded because tensions were to a boiling point between Peter Wolf and Seth Justman. And, it happened as they were in the studio working on the album that was to follow Freeze Frame...... I can only imagine how great the next album would have been. What a waste..........

They played all this cool stuff.

Northern Maine's WDHP broadcasted into Quebec as well; I remember them receiving phone calls from there; as well as northwestern New Brunswick, Canada.
