@lparmer206 Not really. But in my opinion, this is Hans Zimmer giving 12 % of his capability. When he's doing Crimson Tide main theme, or Up is down for pirates, that's when you feel his true power. Not like this stereotype Zimmer music.

There were tracks from King Author, Gladiator, and, though it wasn't a great movie, The Rock, that were all very good. Heck, I even liked his Lion King music. But, I can respect this piece as well. In the interviews with him and Nolan, they talked about ho the goal for this soundtrack was for it to be as simplistic as possible, and I think he did well for a minimalist approach.

Hilarious spelling mistake hehe. And yes, Gladiator has some epic themes, some of Zimmer's best of all time. Especially the Battle climax waltz melody. The Rock to me is a great movie. It may not be to everyone critical, but to me that is one of the best actions ever made, and that's one of my first soundtracks that kicked me off into starting to collect them. I was soooo happy when I managed to get my hands on "The chase" track. Minimalist you say? Respect.

Inception did not have an ending like Shutter Island where arguments went for both sides.I can't understand when I read comments like "it doesn't matter whether it stopped or not cause he was with his kids"...OF COURSE IT MATTERS! He let go of Molly...he MADE that decision to put her behind him so that he can move forward in REAL LIFE with his children, the only real anything left in his life that was worth fighting for. The answer is in the final scene with him and Molly. It's all there. Enjoy!
