We used to have a 5000 pulling a 10 tonne fraser at the silage she was a great wagon. Sold her two years ago sadly missed. What size of kane is on the 5000a 12 tonne
What make is the green trailer behind the big Ford? Looks ideal for grass, with all the mesh around the top.
And something else I've always wanted to know: why do so many people run the trailers on the left side? Surely right side is more comfortable, and with a tractor under 150hp, I'd be running them behind the chopper. Any ideas?
The green trailer is a thorpe. And we find it easyier to fill from the left. The driver drawing fills his own load. Plus when filling from the right if theres a bad operator drawing he could catch the harvester.
Oh, I see. Where I used to work, the chopper driver was boss, and the rest of us just his slaves, doing what we were told. Must be nice to be allowed to think for yourself. I'll check out Thorpes, cheers.
Wheres Connie from?If he's a corkman where in cork?Does he have it on cd?Where did u get the song on cd?It captures the silage contracting business so perfectly i must get a copy.I could sing it at gigs.
you should put up another video of cutting silage. were you guys in farm and plant before?
