I have the Honda EU series but Yamaha makes good genertors as well, I wouldn't complain with either unit. I was actually considering the Yamaha EF2400is or Yamaha EF2000is before settling for the Honda EU2000i, I have no regrets.

Yamaha makes some of the best outboard motors on the market. I would buy a Yamaha based on their outboards.
