I clicked on this vid just to see what kind of hot mess this show and this song could make together and wow, I have to say my preconceived notions were so so so wrong. The editing is great. The first 15 seconds were just pure magic and the quality is high throughout and it really just fits. It's one thing to take a song that's really on the nose for a show and do a vid but I think this is even more impressive. Well done.

You know, I usually don't like Lady Gaga but you've just made this my favourite song ever. The video was absolutely fantastic, the editing brilliant, and just the over all Sherlock/John-ness of it. Ok... I'm going to be honest. When I first saw someone had done a Sherlock fanvid to this song (don't get me wrong I love Gaga) I was like "what the hell are they thinking?" I almost skipped right over it. But then I watched it.

I instantly went from "How is this even going to work?" to "Oh. Oooooooh."  Because seriously? Awesome editing changes EVERYTHING. Needless to say... This? Was awesome. Job well done.

For some reason the song came to me one morning and I was randomly singing it and I was like..."hm, I should make a Sherlock/John video to this...but nah..that wouldn't really make sense" but the more I thought about it, the more ideas I came up with and the more fun I thought it would be! OMG this is the Sherlock vid I have been waiting for. AMAZING. I love the precise cutting & manipulation of the footage -the zooming/speed ups keep footage that can be really static in motion. What program(s) did you use for editing?

@ladyofthelog O_O Your comment made my little heart flutter with happiness. thank you SO much :D:D:D!!! And honestly, I only used Windows Movie Maker 6.0 to do all of the clip editing and effects. I transfered it to Windows Live Movie Maker (the one that just came with my computer, you can't actually do a lot of editing with that one, which is why I only use it afterward) to cut the song and publish the video.
