This Fedor is from 2008, just about to left his Prime. You can see how athletic, fast, powerful and skilled Fedor was. Nowadays Fedor is much slower and even less technically then at this time. And he lost a lot of muscle mass too.
@kamhal89 there are many fighters older than him. hell, brock is only 1 year younger and its not his athletism thats the problem
in the years after pride (where he was a beast) he only had a few freakshow fights (hong man choi and sylvia??). those years werent good for him. he has already been on the top for so many years, i dont think he has the motivation to get back to be honest
Fedor's got it all. Joe Rogan even announced on a UFC PPV recently that Fedor one of only a handful of true MMArtists. Boxing, grappling, submissions, take down defence, speed, wrestling, throws, tactics, can-take-a-punch, staying calm when in trouble, and taking a loss like a true sportsman.
good for fedor, he is working with a lighter fighter goes to show he can stand with more quicker fighter and has an excellent cardio for a HW. his take down defense is just strong so is his throws and submissions he is so quick. i've seen Fedor's latest vids whr he is practicing i think the OLD FEDOR is back. we r seein these vids more n more. he looks quicker n hungerier than b4. cant wait for his fight.
@tonyg0123 thr r few, short clips where he is practicing with younger fighters. this one came out before Brett or Josh barnett fight i think. when mousasi was still with M-1 but i thought it is new..
Fedor is great but I think Mousasi is going way too easy here.
