Well, from what I've read. E55's actually weigh somewhere around 3500-3700 and the door sticker is wrong. Dunno how true that is though, but it makes sense to me.

The SRT8 puts down low 13's stock, at 4100 pounds, with ~425 HP. Makes sense to me that your car puts down 12's with ~75 more HP, and it may or may not weigh 500 pounds less.

Take into factoring too, Turbo's take a little bit of rev's before they kick in. From a dead stop, a 11.92 turbo SRT 8 is not bad, not bad at all.

In the meantime I will take my Challenger to the fine restaurants and it will be parked next to the high dollar exotics all day long with equal respect. The guys with the Maseratis and GTRs love to talk about the SRT8 and how striking it looks.

FYI, we tested a bone stock challenger srt8 on the same day and same track at the same time and it only ran 13.7 @ 102 mph. it was a very hot day at 100 deg. F. either way you look at it, the HPE600 Turbo car ran nearly 20 mph faster than the stock SRT8.
