This video has a much more coherent storyline than its predecessor, and it is aided by some exceptional performances (most notably, Dan Steamer as the refrigerator-dwelling doofus and Casey Orwig as the stoic, blood-thirsty assassin). Although the "it was all a dream, or was it?" ending is a bit tired and clichéd, this short film explores its thematic subject of paranoia leading to indiscriminate violence with greater depth and clarity. For once, a remake actually transcends the original!
I think we need to work on some more movies. This one is good, but we could make some seriously sweet movies, even one thats not based on a song. If Seth Rogen can make Zach and Miri Make a Porno.... we could make some movies too!
