สวัสดีครับครู I would like to ask, when do I use เวลา and when do I use เมื่อ ? I understand that เวลา can mean 'time' or 'when'(assume 'when' in the context of my question). I also know เมื่อ just means 'when'. So, when do I know which word to use? Or are both acceptable? ขอบคุณครับ
@aloozer but then its referring to the noun "คน" so its a bit of cheating but :) I do that a lot.. its like saying "You are a beautiful person" instead of saying " You are beautiful" :)
So I noticed how well you can "roll" your r's. I can't do this so should I make an L sound or R sound. For example I always thought hot= larn. Thank you :)

สวัสดีครับ!
What is "pretty" (for women) in Thai? Or can you use "หล่อ" for women too?
vanillesossenchecker 3 weeks ago
@vanillesossenchecker "หล่อ" is only used for men. For women we say "สวย" or "น่ารัก"

@aloozer
สวัสดีค่ะ "เมื่อ" is 'when' (conjunction) used when talking about a period of time, or during the time when
ex. When I was a kid, I did not like to eat vegetable. เมื่อผมเป็นเด็ก ผมไม่ชอบกินผัก
** เมื่อ is in written form, we use ตอน in spoken language:)
เวลา is 'when' used for things that are timeless or true at all times; habitual
ex. She tends to cry when angry เขาชอบร้องไห้เวลาโมโห

@marnimarien
I = pom, have = mee, question = kam-taam; pom mee kam-taam = I have a question.
As for police in Thai is "dtam-ruat". It is one word, you cannot seperate them.
"kue" is mostly used to give explanation. You are right:)

@tama1550 It is ok to make L sound instead of R sound. Most Thais do that anyway, but I want to show you the corerct pronunciation:)
