Alright, I have to completely random questions;

1. Have you ever seen a PURPLE violin? I have one and people like to stare me down for it.

2. When you play while sitting, do you end up scooting to the very edge of your chair? I do that a lot, and today, I nearly fell off.

If you would be so kind as to answer, I would be especially greatfull :3

@LoveRejectedKay 1.) Is it an acoustic one?... It _is_ very unusual to see an acoustic that's purple. I've seen purple electric violins... and blue, or giraffe-pattern, or american flag, or green acoustics violins... but I don't think I've seen a purple one....

2.) I don't, but I'm lazy when playing sitting down xD.... It's good to sit at the edge of your chair when you're playing violin (just as long as you don't actually fall off :O).

@animemelanie ^__^ ty... Well, a "very good" violin tends to be gut-wrenchingly expensive (they're handmade and aged and cost as much/more than cars D:)

...but probably where you could find the best (more affordable) beginner's violin would be from a catalog like "Southwest Strings" or "Shar Music" (Googling those would take you to their websites)

I understand completely how you got lost listening when transcribing this! I think you took me to that same place! Just beautiful! I saw mention of the background. There's something similar, an almost "whooshing" sound on the track Goldwrap by the group est, featuring the later jazz pianist Esbjörn Svensson. Thank you, again for making and posting this!

@foodforunicorns I agree, actually.... but I had the problem of there being no instrumental version/not being able to pull out the vocals very successfully.... so I had to sacrifice the background a bit so the vocals wouldn't be louder than the violin =/

Brilliant. May I just say I've been enjoying your videos for some time now. I'm not a violinist myself but I'm writing some fiction wherein one of the characters is. Your videos are quite helpful. The subtle differences in personality in the different outfits are just what the doctor ordered. Of course it's worth mentioning that the fact that you are actually talented and a pleasure to listen to only helps.
