Get WinchX or Glider Tow Plane Utility which allows you to make flight patterns for the Tow plane. For example: you could make it turn 90 Degrees at 3000 feet.
Good video, much better then the typical ones on here. Regarding use of negative flags, I would have trimmed for aerotow instead, For realistic gliding I'd check out: silent wings and Condor. While they don't have quite the same "eye candy". Both are miles ahead of FSX for soaring realism
